β β β β β Parisa Pourang who offers Newcomer Information Session is not polite.
She does not speak politely and her tone is not appropriate in the class while answering questions. It feels like she is forced to run the class.
She should be a role model for new immigrants and be a representative of amazing Canadian culture. I highly recommend to her manager to send Parisa to soft skill trainings.

β β β β β I have been migrating to Canada for four years, I went to the North Shore Multicultural Society on the second day of my migration, and since then the center and its people have been by my side in various situations, and I have been able to get the most help from this Centre. In particular, two people have helped me the most, during this period, Ms. Khatereh Masoudi who was very effective in my child's school program processing. She helped us and answered all the questions and solved issues that have arisen for us during these four years, always with openness and great enthusiasm and responsibility .
And Ms. Parisa Pourang, who helped me a lot in various settlement matters related to immigration , in addition, I had the opportunity to benefit from the very valuable workshops held by her during these years. And her mastery of concepts, as well as the great work ethic and peace of mind I get from her workshops at the end of each session, has been very helpful and hopeful to me as a single mother and new immigrant. In my opinion, she is a committed, responsible and caring person, and her calmness, kindness and humanity are incomparable.I really enjoyed the tone of her soothing, calm and peaceful voice and the clarity in her words. I recommend everyone to attend her excellent workshops in the field of mental health.I learned so much.
Words do not express my true feelings, but just want to say; I am completely satisfied with this center and I have received incredible energy and a lot of help from each and every person who works in it, I do not know if there was not such precious center, what people like me (who had no friends or relatives in Canada ) would have done. I appreciate all their love and efforts.

β β β β β Not sure why would the managements of this organization hire very incompetent people, Miss Azadeh from swis department is very slow and low in English and she seems like don't like her job... I also used to be very pleased with the front desk ladies, specially there was a younger lady, who used to help me and my family always but recently there are so many new older womans answering the phones and they're seems like don't have enough knowledge of their job and very slow of responding.. Language centre front desk staff, same thing, very slow and dont have enough information. I have heard from my teacher that they changed the manager for front desk people and that could be the reason, my teacher also wasn't pleased with the new front desk manager.
I have a good experience from settlement staff. But I'm very disappointed of front desk staff and Azadeh from swis department. I feel like the managments are taking a blind look of all these changes.

β β β β β They changed their name recently but the low quality of service and management is still the same... They cannot keep their employees because of their poor management so they continue to hire unqualified and unmotivated people. Wouldn't be surprised about another re-branding coming soon!
Got an appointment after 3-4 weeks to help with an application and the settlement worked seemed extremely tired of her job. I don't blame her. I had a similar issue with a different settlement worker months ago. The problem is in the management and I will be looking for other agencies next time.
