★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I try to stop by Imaginary Wars whenever I'm in the neighbourhood as you never know what you might find in the used/consignment section! I had them order specialty dice for me in the past and the owner has always been really friendly on phone whenever I've called in with a product inquiry. You can tell this is a store run out with love for the industry and people's passions to play. I strongly encourage everyone to support this friendly local game store!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love this store. The manager here invites you in with a warm welcome. His knowledge on every. single. game in the store is definitely a plus. He is so extremely helpful and I don't play games often but this guy makes me want to buy the whole store. I absolutely love it here and you should definitely come in, meet the manager and pick up a game or two, great selection!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in today asking about game nights and beginner nights for D&D and Warhammer AoS. It was a lovely and welcoming environment and I really appreciate how kind Kyle was when helping me out. Also the mini paint stock here is way better than other stores I’ve been to, much more variety.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had heard of Imaginary Wars but hadn't been until recently. I am glad I did. It was a friendly and helpful environment. The owner let me know about potential restocks and has always been friendly and open to conversation.
There's a good selection of Comics which I was able to find one I had been looking to get for sometime. There is also a good selection of different games and hobbying gear. Definitely one of the of first places I stop if I need something.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little store. Went in to inquire about stuff for my son and to have a look around. Kyle was very friendly and helpful. Will be bringing my son in to have a look. They have an interesting selection of games, comics, game parts and manuals. They even have events.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent store. Very nice and owner. Not a massive store but contained a nice selection of Warhammer 40k and lots of table space for the floor space available.
The scenery for the tables was also really well painted with a ton of variety. Definitely worth checking out and playing at if in Calgary.
