I received a lash lift today with Irina. Very relaxing experience ( took a nap) and my lashes look great! Great price too.

I found and contacted iLashSpa through Kijiji and asked if the had the large rod (I had an eyelash lift years prior at another place, they used a Med rod and my eyelashes curled into my eyelids- not cute/comfortable). I received a reply very quickly from Irina saying that she did in fact have the large rod. I checked out the website and was impressed because it showed she had a good eye for design. She also is from Eastern Europe, like me. I also liked the fact that she doesn't just do eyelashes but she's also a Dermalogica trained esthetician and kept up with the latest trends and innovations in beauty and had a lot of years experience. In the day of the appointment, I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment and found the door to the place closed. I thought we'll this is just great.. However I received a text that same minute from Irina letting me know she's sorry, running 5 minutes late because of traffic. I waited a bit bored in the hallway but she did show up quickly after that! She was so sorry that she was late and let me into the waiting room while she quickly prepped the room for me. I liked her demeanour instantly. She didn't have a an air of arrogance (you know those yorkville types..) and seemed very warm and sweet. The room was small but very nicely laid out and she had a lot of new technology for facials, etc. She explained to me the process and took a look at my eyelashes. She said she's never seen anybody else who has lashed like me. (Not a compliment haha) Since using an eyelash growth serum my eyelashes curled haphazardly, it looked like I had a bad eyelash perm at a different place.. she said that she will do what she can to correct it. I liked how she didn't over promise. Also I just so happened to have a super strong under the skin pimple on my chin that I had tried eliminating the day before and it was an even bigger monster today. Irina said it's never a good idea to do diy home surgery :) She said she has an electrical zapper thing (not her words!) for microcurrent facials and she could use that on my spot to make it heal faster and kill the bacteria. I was surprised because I was only asking for advice because I knew she was an esthetician! To start, I laid down on the chaise and closed my eyes. She played some relaxing music, Lana Del Ray.. good taste! She applied a tape over my bottom lashes and hold them down and then applied silicone eyelid pads to protect my lashes form the perking solution. The then used a large sticky rod (per my request) and painstakingly attached each eyelash in the proper place. I could feel get working very carefully on each lash. I wasn't uncomfortable during this, it was surprisingly relaxing. After she was satisfied with the look of the lashes she applied the first solution and left it for a few minutes. She removed that and then applied a second solution for another 6 minutes or so. She then zapped my zit! After removing all solution and eyelid guards and said that we could go ahead with the lash tint. She asked me how intense I would like the colour of my eyelashes, informing me that the blue black is the most striking and so we decided to add some of that into a black colour to still make it look natural with my light blue eyes. The tint went on my bottom lashes first, then my Too lashes and she used a spoolie to go over all the eyelashes many time to make sure every little lash was coated, including the very bottom, where my eyelash roots are usually lighter. While I was waiting for these things to process we spoke about beauty trends and skin care, because I'm very interested in beauty innovation. She never once tried to sell me on her services or products. After around 6 minutes she removed the solution and cleaned up any remaining residue. She then handed me a mirror and I was honestly flabbergasted. My lashes have never looked so good!!! She is a miracle worker. I would trust her with all my eyelash and skincare needs! Oh and that pimple.. almost gone! :)

Friendly and professional staff. After moving to Toronto, i was very anxious to find a spot to get my lashes refilled. I found ilash spa on google and reading the reviews decided to give it a go. And must say, this is a great place. I always have my lash appointments with Joy and the results are fabulous each time. Second best part, its so relaxing there that i just take a peaceful nap while my lashes are being worked on. Irina is very responsive and always tries to work around my schedule. Thank you guys!

Irina did an amazing job for my lashes!! They lasted a very long time, and looked perfect!!!! I was a little nervous getting them done, because I did them for the first time, but Irina took her time to explain the procedure and aftercare process. She helped me choose the right length and what shape would look best for me. Irina is very helpful, friendly, experienced and definitely knows what she's doing. I can't wait to get my lashes done again!!! The place is very clean and tasteful!!!! Highly Recommend :)
