The course itself is beautiful and well taken care of, it's a hard argument against that. However, when your website lists unaccompanied guest green fee rates for non-members and you are met with attitude from the proshop when you call to make a tee time is why I'll gladly avoid this course and be a member elsewhere. No where on their website does it include the "one tee time a day rule for non-members." Idywylde Golf and Country Club, if you want your course to be solely private it's time to update your website and not mislead the public.

Great open house. I am very excited about curling soon.

I have been here for several different events, but never golfing. I have always had a great time and the staff has always been very courteous and friendly. I have curled here several times and the only reason for the 4 stars is because of the wide variability in the ice surface. Sometimes the ice is very slow and you really need to give the rocks a little bit extra to get in the house. Other times the is normal to fast and your shot is quite different. Other than that the facilities are great.

Always great to go to the Club, a place I have spent a good part of my life after my Parents bought a house near the Club in 1972!

Great curling experience not sure what the golf is about. The 4 stars is for the curling only.

Best in town! A top notch course that is expertly maintained and provides great views of Sudbury. Shot-makers will be rewarded for their accuracy but long balls will also be useful on this par 72. The restaurant is a very nice complement to a lovely clubhouse.

An endorsement for the curling club. Positives: decent ice, friendly and talented people (who know they're good but don't boast about it), comfortable and well-maintained club, always a table willing to share their pitcher. It costs more to curl here but the three-digit membership is good value since the club has paid ice technicians, bar tenders, and capability to serve hot meals after a game. Minus one star since the curling club does not have good google presence and perceived exclusivity due to being a country club. Furthermore, relations between golfers and curlers could be improved as well as between the club and community.
