This hospital is a disaster. They don't triage there patiences out all. The nurses there have trouble giving a four year old Tylenol saying that you need to see a doctor. As she's getting worse they take a guy with a simple cut on his finger that already stopped bleeding. Worse one yet is the mother with the 6 month old who was waiting there an hour or two before us. We've been there for 3 hours. Also a lady passed out and the nurse were completely condescending AND another lady almost fell out of here wheelchair twice and she couldn't even remember her name. Again the nurses were useless saying things like "I know you're awake" to both patiences. Disgusting behavior. Worse hospital in Ontario. Bar none.

They have neglected my girlfriend multiple times at this hospital telling her she is a perfect healthy person when she knows she is sick and they have not done any tests other than blood work to than just tell her she’s fine and it’s just “Anxiety”. She has been brushed off every time and has begged for help. The last experience she had the doctor threatened to leave if she kept “Talking over him” which if you ask me is completely unprofessional.

Went there on a friday afternoon for a fractured foot. Clinic that dispenses air casts and walking boots is not open nights or weekends. Had to stay in hospital until Monday afternoon to be fitted with a walking boot. If your a type 1 diabetic on any meds like long lasting insulin, you will not receive any while your in hospital.

To call itself a hospital is a disgrace. I believe it should be associated more as a walk in clinic. A state of emergency should be declared at this location. Basic health care needs are not met for the elderly. Ageism is rampant, there is no voice for the elderly who are ill. Patient relations is unfortunately useless in addressing any situation that comes across their desk, most likely cause they are overwhelmed with complaints. The majority of nurses are ill equipped, lack of knowledge and experience. The same can be said for the doctors. Could all of this chaos be the result of poor leadership? Is Dominic Giroux the one to be held accountable? Elderly patients are dying from lack of care, bedsores that are not treated and they are left to starve. Such a disgrace. Shame shame shame.

Waited a year for an MRI due to covid issues. Finally got notified I had an appt in Sudbury 3 hours away from my house. The staff were unbelievably courteous and friendly. MRI Dept best I have ever experienced. Can't say enough. Worth the wait. Thanks for your help. Greatly appreciated ! Not sure I was reviewing the same place with all the negative comments but that was not my experience.

Wait times are terrible as expected with covid measures, but that's not what I'm here to complain about. The nurses and doctors that work in this hospital show absolutely no remorse for the elderly and disabled, they are borderline violent, leaving bruises on people that don't have the slightest clue of what's even going on. But what more could I ask for with free Healthcare? If someone you know is injured, don't bring them to this terrible place. You'd seriously be better off driving an extra hour to go elsewhere.

Went in for a scheduled c section . The birthing department was amazing . However other areas of the hospital could definitely use some extra TLC and organization. The registration was over packed and slow at 6am . The facility it's self was not very clean the hand sanitizer dispensers are covered in dust and half of them don't even have sanitizer in them. Windows and ledges covered in dust you can tell they havent been cleaned in some time . Bedding had clear visible stains . I was there for 24 hours and 3 meals should have been served the kitchen staff would show up to collect trays but yet I was never delivered anything. ( i did speak up at supper time they had one cold tray left and said they would fix for breakfast and still didnt get breakfast) Thankful I was prepared this time and brought my own food and husband was able to bring me some supper. The facility could definitely use extra cleaning especially right now. However the staff in the birthing center were amazing and provided excellent care to me and my baby . So thankful for the kind souls there.

First of all, they don't allow two attendees for a patient. Agreed it's because of Covid. But being a son to both my aged parents I need to look after both my dad who was inside the hospital and my mom who was outside waiting for us. The so called "emergency section" is not emergency at all. After registering my dad for emergency and waiting for more than an hour, I had to go outside to see my mother. Later when I got a call from my dad who is diabetic that his sugar his low, I had to rush inside with a chocolate only to realize that I have to stand in a long queue in the emergency section for almost 10 minutes despite completing the registration. Who in the right mind would prevent an attendee from treating a diabetic patient? Worst hospital I have ever seen.
