S	Sarah Ansari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We purchased a fifty year old house in Calgary and quickly realized just by looking at it that the attic insulation was inadequate (it was original wood chips, the vapour barrier was not in tact, and the vents for the bathroom fans and range hood were not to code). So we made calls to a few companies and had representatives from each come to our home to investigate it further. The best company by far was IDEAL Insulation and Roofing. Mike from IDEAL promptly came to our home and did a thorough examination of what what needed to be done to insulate our garage and interior attic including removing old insulation and supplying new, putting vapour barrier where it was missing and repairing/taping what was there, air venting the attic, supplying new roof vents for fans, skylight insulation and back pan etc. The prices were very competitive and the systematic organization of the work was amazing. I cannot stress how professional this company is. Mike arranged the trades, which were many, to our home to complete the various aspects of the work required and came regularly to check the progress. Dan, an insulation supervisor from IDEAL also came to our home each day to check the work while in progress and the work when it was completed. What a fantastic company! We highly recommend IDEAL to anyone who needs insulation or roofing. You won’t be disappointed. And if you have an older home, maybe let them come out and look to see the state of your home. Well worth it. Thank you IDEAL. You are certainly a five-star operation.

E	Eric Lambe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A picture says a thousand words, these pictures are taken from my 2 year and 4 year olds rooms. We decided to pay extra for spray foam insulation. If I didn't catch Ideals sketchy work my family would have become sick and the house would be a tear down. A little icing on the cake. They weren't even suppose to be spraying. Just showed up unannounced. They said it looks good! Terrible experience and terrible company to deal with. My wife and I have been removing this foam for the past month after Ideal sprayed our dream home. They argued with me and to this day have not and will not apologize. It's all very disturbing to me from the work to the people.

Not only did Mike from Ideal bring me the best (lowest) quote, but after a quick investigation of my roof and attic (with photos he had taken), he offered solid recommendations and showed me samples. One of the biggest reasons I did choose Ideal over their competitors, was the product. I love the GAF HD Timberline shingle, and the Barkwood colour was perfect for my house. The crew installed the shingles, and I am very impressed. This new roof is a huge improvement. I also decided to upgrade my ceiling insulation at the same time, from R24 to R60, because I saved money just by choosing Ideal over their competitors. The crews were professional, quick, and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Ideal Insulation.

He was very knowledgeable and helpful, his team came to install new attic insulation and a new gooseneck vent (for the bathroom fan) on our roof. I was extremely happy with the quality of service and all the advice they had to offer regarding energy saving and how attic ventilation works. The guys that did the work were really friendly and professional. Most of the time we didn't know they were here, they knew what they were doing, got it done and left zero mess! I highly recommend Carlos and his team at Ideal Insulation!
R	Rick Riffel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the Energuy (recommended) come and do and assessment for the Greener Homes program and he recommended that we get our attic insulation repaired and improved to R50 and that some of the cost would be covered through the Greener Homes program. We obtained a few insulation quotes and picked Ideal - they were really IDEAL - they were the best price, the service was great and overall job well done. The installers were very careful (as careful as can be and allot of contractors have been through our house this year). In all, we highly recommend IDEAL INSULATION!

I contacted a few different places, but Ideal Insulation was priced right, and the most professional out of the all companies I dealt with. Initially dealt with Mike to set up my quote appointment, and he was super communicative, and asked all the right questions in what work I was wanting done. Greg came out and did my quote, and he was super knowledgable and fantastic to work with. Greg didn't try to push any additional services on me, and answered honestly when it came to all the questions and additional service inquiries I had. Ended up having Ideal complete my attic insulation upgrade to R60 (from R22), and had two bathroom vent hoses upgraded. The work was completed in a timely manner, and they left the home spotless when they were done. On top of all this they were able to save me some money by telling me about the Federal Greener Home Grant which included rebates for Insulation upgrades. Will be using Ideal again in the future for any additional insulation work, and will be reaching out when the time comes to redo my roof.
