I took my test here after trying twice. Good environment. My instructor LH was really calm and made me feel relaxed. He was clear with his instructions. Am glad I did my test at the centre this time.

I had the most pleasant experience on my road test and I passed my exam at the first attempt at Burnaby Claim Centre. My examiner was Ken. He was friendly and gave me clear instructions in advance. Thank you so much, Ken!

I did my road test here, and the experience could not have been more positive. My examiner, Emanuel was incredibly friendly and I really felt like he was there to help me. I would really recommend doing your road test here if possible because I have never had a better experience at an ICBC office.

Today I had an exam with Lan at 11:50. I am a driver for 15 years and in knowledge test I got 40/41. He failed me for the reason of "missed scans at intersections" 5 times in a row !!!. and no other major mistake. This is impossible and totally unfair. How could I do such a mistake for 5 times in a row in 30 minutes of test?!!! Could you believe someone has no mistake during 30 minutes driving but he missed scan at intersection 5 times in a row? I remember that at every intersection I bent over and scan the roads in a way that he noticed. Meanwhile, when we arrived at the center he asked me: "What do we do at intersections before moving?" And I answered immediately: "we scan" and I showed him I know the rule. Anyway. I am going to talk with their manager tomorrow. Totally Unfair

I just had my Class 7 road test, and it’s something I’ve been not looking forward to doing. I always get nervous when I drive, and it was especially true with this test. However, I’m so glad I got Diana as my examiner. She really helped me calm my nerves with her friendly personality, and she was super encouraging and definitely someone who excels at her job. Even though she passed me, I would say the same if she didn’t. Thanks Diana!

I took a road test here a couple of months ago to get my n and was very disappointed. At one point during the exam, my examiner told me to turn in one direction while pointing in the complete other direction and I had to ask to clarify what direction he wanted me to turn in. Also, at the end of one street there was construction that was completely blocking off the road and he persistently was telling me to make a turn at the next street when there was obviously no way I could turn into another street or go through the construction block off. So then I told him that there would be no way to do so since I obviously could not drive through construction so he then in a very annoyed tone told me late to do a three point turn. As I was checking my mirrors in preparation to do a three point turn, nearly three seconds in he asks me if I’ve ever even done one before in a very demeaning tone. At the end of the exam he does not even let me park and rudely tells me to just park telling me that I had failed because I had waited too long (7 or 8? I can’t remember ) seconds at some stop signs. I had been taught by my driving instructor that if I don’t know, that I don’t go and that I should wait at a stop sign for three seconds and roll forward to see if there were any cars coming and was under the impression that if there’s a car coming at you that you shouldn’t turn into their lane… At the end of the exam he berated my driving abilities telling me that it was obvious I hadn’t driven a lot. Even though I had been preparing for this exam for many months and even invested in expensive lessons. It’s one thing to fail me, but to make as many unprofessional mistakes and be unnecessarily rude was unacceptable. At the end He leaves and gets out of my car and a few minutes later comes back because he forgot to give me back my learners permit. Overall I had a terrible anxiety inducing experience here and will not be testing here in the future. I don’t write reviews often but I felt this one was necessary.

I did my first road test here. My examiner, Eugenio, is a very kind and professional. I highly appreciate the way he treated with examinee: at the beginning of the road test, he clearly explain to me the evaluation procedure before taking the road test. That helps me to calm down and gain more confidence. I would like to thanks to ICBC Claim Centre to provide us a good service with courteous and professional staff, like Eugenio!

A big thank you to Wayne! I suffer from clinical anxiety, so to paint a picture, I've been thinking about this road test for months!! The moment I got introduced to Wayne, my nerves disappeared. He made me feel comfortable, was personable, and himself which helped me feel at ease. I wish someone would've told me so I really want to spread the word about this location! Wayne explained everything to me prior to what we were going to do and made sure I felt comfortable, which I truly appreciate. I would've posted this even if I failed because it's hard driving when you're nervous, so it's very important that whoever is grading you, has to have a certain charm and experience or else you're driving off nerves and not how you'd actually drive. Thank you so much Wayne for being so understanding and friendly. You helped me calm my nerves and focus on driving. Truly made my experience a memorable one and whoever gets the big boss is extremely lucky like I was ??
