★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son and daughter love going to class. I find the instructors are very patient and calm which creates a really nice atmosphere for the class. In 4 months my kids have learned so much. I would definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, I don't know. I was going to recommend my son try this place, as he has been wanting to learn martial arts, and it has a class for special needs.
But from some of these other reviews, and not much info on the website, I'm thinking maybe it isn't such a great place for my son.
It sounds like the instructors don't have much real experience, and their 'helpers' sound clueless and uncaring.
My Aspergers son doesn't need this kind of lackadaisical baloney! Checking into other places instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been with Hydra Taekwondo off and on for almost a decade and continue to train until this day. I've studied several martial arts in the past but Taekwondo is definitely my favorite. Classes are smaller and instructors are willing to give you a lot of individual attention even after class if asked. A very comfortable environment to learn martial arts and a great way to get in shape in my older years. Definitely worth checking out!

Unfortunately time schedules have prevented me from registering just yet however my son who is a non verbal 10 year old had a private session with Master Hutchison and the interactions I got to see were so positive! Master Hutchison was great at communicating clearly and simplistically in a way that made me just want to cry. Many places like this won't work with a son such as mine. I hope to be back in November and will be telling all my friends about the time Brad took to set aside for us. It was amazing and I'm so thankful for it! We need more people like this in the world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice atmosphere! I love how welcoming Mr.H has been. I have studied taekwondo before but Mr. H has a real eye for detail like I haven't seen before. He makes detailed corrections while still building me up into a more rounded martial artist. I love everything about this club!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son is new to Hydra Martial Arts, however as a little guy with severe separation anxiety Master H has made him feel welcome, and Master H has been patient and calm with my son. Slowly building that trust so that he feels safe and comfortable coming to class has been a real game changer these past few months. We cannot say enough amazing things about Master H, his staff and his class. My son really enjoys going to class, and we are super happy with what he has been taught and what he has learnt on his short few months with Hydra. I highly recommend giving Master H and his class a try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Instructor has falsely ranked himself as a master. Was apart of this club for over 4 years. 2 months after I left he magically went from a fourth Dan to a seventh Dan. This does not happen in any discipline. I left as my health was not good and he latched out with ill treatment towards me and my family even wishing agonizing death with Cancer. Even blaming my kids one autistic and the other type one diabetes on bad parenting. This owner needs mental health treatment not running a club and being around people looking for a role model. 100% a taker and conman. Do not trust your loved ones around this place. I have documents to back everything up as well. Would also ask to see insurance policy. He has used personal data information for personal use and more. Please stay away.
