β β β β β I went in for a men's haircut not expecting much. My stylist was Andy. He was super friendly and I told him he could do whatever he wanted with my hair if he thought it would look good. He gave me a really good fade on the side and back, and a super nicely styled undercut. he took the time to show me how to use the brush to blowdry my hair back and keep the front part poofy. I would recommend going to him if you're looking for a men's cut.

β β β β β I used to have damaged hair with my hair done all the time. I always thought that is a sacrifice for having a stylish hair. I don't know what kind products this shop uses. But since I went to HWE, I have been getting not only stylish but also "shiny", soft and healthy hair even after my hair permed and colored. This shop deserves five stars! I always go to see Rock, who is a hair designer and an owner of the shop. He is great!!

β β β β β Rock gave me a great cut and the best service! You will not be disappointed. And if you are disappointed, it's probably because you provided unclear instructions.
I started off heading to a different hair salon nearby. They were all booked so they turned me away. Hwe Hair Studio was about to close but they stayed open to cut my hair. Rock was very meticulous in the way he cut my hair. **This part you must experience for yourself :) **. I told him I was about to head to dinner, expecting to just get a cut and that's it. He insisted on washing, shampooing and styling my hair so I look presentable for my family dinner. 1.) The wash was awesome, the head massage totally got me sleeping. 2.) The hair drying is pleasantly unconventional. Instead of using a brush to dry, he used formations of his fingers to style my hair. 3.) He taught me how to style my hair to achieve more volume. I had a great experience. I hope you get the chance to have Rock do wonders to your hair too! My cut cost $32.50 not including tip.

β β β β β After all "so-so" or even negative reviews, I decided to check it out and give personal evaluation, as the location is so convenient. Without further ado, guys that was the best hair cut over the last 5 years since we've moved to Canada! I AM SERIOUS. I am not comparing with $60+ per haircut services, just haven't yet tried it, but for the money it is definitely worth it. Period.
PS. Rocky was just great! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

β β β β β I have been a Rockβs customer since 2009, so I got my haircut from him about 150 times. Honestly speaking, I was always satisfied with the haircut service I received from him. I also loved the location(easy-to-find parking space) and the peaceful & cozy environment of the hair studio. Moreover, the haircut service fee is relatively cheap for the quality of the service I get. I feel so ashamed that I am leaving from Vancouver to Toronto for good. I am not sure Iβd be able to find such a perfect hair studio for me. Rock Young really Rocks! ?

Today, I left with another amazing hair cut and perfect colors with improved hair texture. Rock is certainly THE best hair stylist in the lower mainland, I highly recommend this place!!

β β β β β This is my first time here. I have so much to say. First of all, itβs my first time to get my hair colored. I did βbleachingβ twice. I choose ash grey, it turn out to be perfect. Iβm so in love with my hair. The owners are really friendly, itβs different from what other reviews had said. The owners offered me coffee and tea and even gave me a snack. I spent 5+ hour to get my hair done, plus 30 minutues of haircut. I made them work overtime?, they close at 6 and I was getting my haircut at 7 ( due to hair coloring). The owners still serve me with a big smile. Definitely will be regular here! The price are fair too!
