β β β β β 1st visit to this salon as I am new in the area and found this place based on positive ratings on google.
Staff are friendly enough. When my hair was washed, I thought my stylist was quite rough. After wash, she asked me what I would like. I said I just want a trim and told her specifically i do not want the length of my new hair to land on my shoulders because they would bend out and be difficult to manage.
Fast forward. Instead of a trim, she did a major cut (i had long hair to my elbow). My new hair landed right on my shoulders before I realized how short she planned to cut it. Her hair layering technique is poor as well. After the cut, I said my hair is on my shoulders and they will bend out. She said i just need to blow dry my hair at every wash and curl it inward. Of course I could do that, but that is made a necessary step because of her mishandling.

β β β β β My fiancΓ© wanted to get a medium-length haircut the other day. As with most people, she was nervous about coming in to a new salon for the first time. When washing and drying her hair, the staff washed and dried her hair, they were very rough with the process.
Despite showing pictures of what my fiancΓ© wanted, the lady cut her hair WAY too short & did not even bother to show the backside afterwards.
We suspect that she messed up (which she did), which is the reason why the lady didnβt want to show the backside. In conclusion, my fiancΓ© left feeling like wanting to cry after her haircut. I felt so bad for her.
Not only will we never be coming back to Sejong, I will also be sure to warn my friends about coming here. Listen and heed the warnings of the other negative reviews prior to considering Sejong.

β β β β β I did my hair straighten almost 2 weeks ago. Looks good after the first couple days. But after i washed my hair and woke up in the next morning found that my hair was dry and looked like a puff cloud. That never happened before, i used to straight my hair every 6 months. Disappointed.

β β β β β Jennifer is a very nice hairdresser! She listens, knows what you want and give proper advices. She curled my hair which I havenβt done it for almost 20 years and it turned out so pretty! Over my expectations! Go to Jennifer if you have doubts and talk to her what you want , Iβm sure she can help you!

1) my haircut was very satisfactory (male)
and logically I recommended the place to some of my family members who came back with
2) super, super short haircuts that they definitely did not want. (females)
I see other reviews reporting the same outcomes, so I think the place simply sucks at doing women's hair. Also worth noting that 1) and 2) were done by the same person.
Verdict: for men, the place is great, definitely not so much for women
