Terrible experience. The woman was very rude and moody. I went to have 2 necklaces and a silver chain fixed, and the owner gave me a much cheaper quote than he charged me upon pick up: nearly $200! He had put on a gold clasp without my request for it; excused the high price with the fact that it hurts the employee’s fingers to do the knotting! Never going back.

Such a great experience! Popped in to ask how much it would be to resize my engagement ring and dual wedding bands. I was given a very reasonable quote and received my newly resized rings within 3 days. They did a beautiful job! Very happy to have such a great local jeweller and goldsmith. 5 star all the way!

I dropped by a few days ago to get the battery replaced in my watch. When talking to the lady at the counter, she asked if I planned on sticking around while they change the battery. it takes about 10 or so minutes and it was pouring rain outside so I said yes. After I got my watch back and I was having about jewelry, business (business is an interest of mine as well), ect with the lady I kind of felt like I was an inconveniencing them by bringing my watch in. There are a few other jewelery stores in town which I usually deal with when I need something and I honestly wouldn't recommend this one.

Had a brand new ID bracelet engraved that I bought as a Christmas present. The bracelet did get engraved so they performed the service however when I brought in the bracelet it was brand new with no scratches. When I brought up the scratches she brought it to the back and I heard him telling her no someone's worn that. I'm not one to argue but I let them know I bought it brand new and it had been sitting in it's jewelry box since I purchased it 3 weeks ago and had only been removed by them and when I had dropped it off I know there were no scratches it was shiny and brand new when they took it into their possession. They went so far as to say I didn't buy it brand new and said someone had must have returned it to the store I bought it from. Told me because he didn't engraved the front there was no way for him to scratch it. I will not be going back. Yes you get what you paid for but the unwelcome surprise was not worth it. The pictures don't show just how badly it was scratched ?

WORST customer service ever. Treated me with such disrespect after my boyfriend and I have been giving them lots of business for years. The white lady working for the owners needs to learn how to talk to customers with respect and not fight with paying customers. Never going back to this place and dont recommend them to anyone. Dont waste your money in this store, they don't deserve it.

Well, this will be one of the first times I have rated and shared an experience at a retailer, as I am a very understanding and easy to get along with individual, but this is worth sharing. Watch owners beware. As usual, half my watches are all needing batteries at the same time, was in Victoria the day before and had two of them replaced, it took about 5 minutes, 12 dollars a piece, proper case removal equipment etc at meticulous watch repair, very professional. Today, was heading Duncan way, figured I would replace a couple more, called ahead to Huyen, she said watch battery replacement was between 12 and 20, no problem so I took two watches in for batteries. Right away she said they would be 15 a piece, again, no problem. I must also say, the case design on these watches is exactly the same brand and type as the ones I had done at meticulous. The reason that is important is that she was gone for almost 15 minutes, I could see a bit in the back where they were working, and what I thought I was seeing was indeed the case, not a case opening tool , a small flat screwdriver and hammer, hitting the small notches to open the case!! When she came back she said it would be 20 each now, as they needed a “special tool” to open them and it was reasonable to charge more. Once more I said OK, happy to have them fixed, but mentioned that for other customers and another time it would be good to mention that before doing the work. She grabbed the watches and immediately said she would take the batteries out if I wasn’t happy, I again said no, I am happy to get them working, it was just a suggestion, to which she snapped that they didn’t know until they opened them that they needed a special tool??????? But, you know you needed the special tool before you opened it, so just mention that to the customer ahead of time!! This went no where, I paid for my watches, and as I got to my car with my son I had a look at the back and the case, completely scratched in multiple places, where??? Right where they had slipped off the little notches while banging it with a hammer and then had the screwdriver scrape across the case, multiple times and in multiple places!!!! Not impressed, but no use in going back in as they couldn’t even understand what I was trying to pass on about the cost change before doing the work!! Get you batteries somewhere else!! It’s like going in for a break job and coming back to have new tires at the same time, without asking ahead of time. I read similar reviews before going, but figured a battery change would be a simple one, I should have trusted them! I would given one star, but the batteries work, so that is something.

do not use this business . In trying to get a watch battery replaced which seemed to take time ...the owner said the watch would have to be sent to their repairman in another town . When after some weeks of not hearing from them I collected my seiko dive watch only to find they had damaged a coil inside the movement and it cannot be replaced . One star is too many !!
