From interdisciplinary hackathons, competitions, resources, workshops delivered by experienced entrepreneurs to mentorship, there's a lot happening in the Hunter Hub to help build your ideas to reality.
About Hunter Hub for Entrepreneurial Thinking
The University of Calgary acknowledges the traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Wesley First Nations). The City of Calgary is also home to Metis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. The University of Calgary acknowledges the impact of colonization on Indigenous peoples in Canada and is committed to our collective journey towards reconciliation to create a welcome and inclusive campus that encourages Indigenous ways of knowing, doing, connecting and being.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this space, it’s amazing! Clean, well-equipped, sufficient power, strong Wi-Fi connection, wonderful staff, and my #1 productive space on campus. Legit, it pains me whenever it’s booked off for a private function because I always manage to get SO much done when I’m here.
Honestly, I’d even be willing to pay like $50/semester just to have a spot here because the day this place becomes popular and always crowded is the day it becomes just like the library and loses its charm.
Until then, I’m going to keep milking this incredible space for as long as I can, plus it has a sweet name.

I visit Calgary 3-4 times a year to teach workshops and the Hub has great technology, ample white boards and markers and the chairs and table are easy to move. Whoever designed it understood how teaching can be challenging and must run smoothly as possible. The staff is friendly and professional as well. I also love the vibe on the U of C campus.
