Humble Beginnings Event Venue

This venue is top notch! Myself and my now wife were extremely happy with the level of communication, detail and professionalism along with other attributes. Jennifer & Anthony have an authentic love for what they do. The property is gorgeous for taking memorable pictures. A dirt road with beautiful trees lining the sides. The gazebo, cocktail room, a small bridge decorated with lights for when it gets dark and we can't forget the amazing Bridal Suite! For cocktail hour we enjoyed bruschetta and charcuterie. For dinner we had smoked chicken, root vegetables & creamy mashed potatoes with a fresh bun and garden salad. Everything was hot (except the salad lol) & we received great feedback from guests. Melissa Baillie and I both recommend Humble Begginings. Thanks again to Jennifer & Anthony for making our experience an amazing one!

I'm with the construction crew that is building this venue for these two and I have to say that, our whole crew is blown away by how great they are. It's rare that you find real and genuine people in this world. We're excited to see this project finish soon but will miss then when we're done. Great people!

Hey have you seen humble beginnings? The newest wedding venue in trent hills? Let me tell you what it's like to get married there. Prices they post seem so reasonable and fair, until you sign that contract. Then random additions get added, if it rains she refuses to marry you unless you pay an additional fee so she can get the inside set up, which is pretty yes, but shouldn't I be able to get married in the rain? Shouldn't there be a back up plan? The fee was 1500 nonrefundable due the day before. If it didn't rain I didn't get that money back, she was soo nice and dropped it to 750 non refundable. Luckily the rain held off just long enough I didn't need to cough that additional money up. 500$ damage deposit they didn't tell me about until the week prior to our wedding, of that 500 o recieved 129 back as drink tokens were out on the table. Guess what 370 kept would equal 46 drink tokens. I didn't have 46 people attend, 5 were children, we went for pictures and came back to the waitress removing the drink tokens. So No they were not all used. I got married aug 29th and just recieved the 129 balance today. Now I'm taking it to social media to warn others these are the type of people you are getting involved with. Oh did I tell you, we purchased the Sunday brunch option and they ran out of food and Tyler and I had to get a special plate made for us? Which was deli meats, and pre made garbage. If your going to provide a service in a small community, do better.

Have known the owners for many years are always upfront, informed, detailed with process and easy to work with. Would not hesitate to work with them again or refer their gorgeous new venue to brides, grooms or others in need of a state of the art industry venue for their event or occasion.

Jennifer and Anthony at Humble Beginnings made yesterday so special for us. Throughout the wedding planning process, they were so accommodating and helpful. They very obviously LOVE what they do and it shows! I am beyond happy with our experience and the venue is absolutely beautiful.

We got married at Humble Beginnings and wouldn't change anything about it! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, food is delicious and the DJ services definitely know how to get the crowd going. The photo booth lounge was very fun and the pictures looked amazing.I can't forget to mention Jennifer and Anthony, they were super accommodating during the pandemic and made sure we had the best wedding day that we could, they are both extremely hard working individuals and did an excellent job with Humble Beginnings. They are both very personable and professional. Humble Beginnings was a one stop shop for wedding planning! It made planning much more enjoyable and the day went without a hitch! Thank you so much for the unforgettable night.

We were skeptical to go through with our wedding in 2020 with the unknown of COVID-19. We have no regrets with the amazing experience we had at Humble Beginnings. They were accommodating, COVID compliant, and provided us with our dream wedding! The location, atmosphere and service was all that we wanted for our special day. The convenience of all of the services that they have to offer makes everything even easier when planning our big day ! Would recommend this venue to any bride or groom looking for a rustic feel.

I've been to multiple weddings hosted by this team throughout the years and have been amazed at the amount of effort they put into every event. I have been a groomsmen at 3 events and a guest once. Each and everytime the hospitality and service was above excellent , food was 5 star and the venue is absolutely beautiful. I really don't know how you could go wrong with this team serving you . The bridal suite experience was bragged about for weeks to come by the bride's and the scenery at picture time was peaceful and and pleasant with charcuterie boards brought right outside to the wedding party as the guests enjoyed them inside. The photo booth was also a great hit with many relevant props. The only thing humble about this place is the team because everything else about it screams perfection. Truly a night to remember
