★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and big store! A small inconvenience : some employees in the perfume and makeup section tend to force you to or push you to buy a product. It's hard to enjoy our shopping sometimes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This middle aged guy who works in the fragrance department on the main floor does not know fragrances despite being his department. If you ask him about a particular cologne/perfume, he will insist that a perfume he likes or wants to sell you is better or will say "it just smells like this" or "it just smells like that, its no big deal" rather than making you smell and explaining the notes. People come to smell and test fragrances, a fragrance is more complex than "it just smells like wood", "it just smells like lemon". This guy clearly lacks knowledge and appreciation for colgone/perfume.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The older blonde/grey haired women who works at the customer service desk was absolutely awful to me for no reason. I wanted to make a return on a jacket I purchased and instead of giving me a full refund she gave me a gift card even though I had all tags, receipt and was returning it within 30 days of the purchase. Not to mention she was incredibly rude to me. If a manager is reading this, please look into the matter as customers should never be treated this way!

I find it interesting how the building opens to the outside as well as the metro underground.
I love the amount of options here and how it is 7 stories of merchandise. They have furniture and bedding too.
The only downside, unfortunately, are the prices ? if prices were more reasonable, they would be a solid competition go Ikea.

Often have NO PRICES on items, so you have to go to a cashier and they have to literally GO ONLINE and find the item on their website and then tell you the price. Don't they want to sell their merchandise? I've often put aside items that had no prices (unfortunately) and just left, not having the time to wait for the whole process.** (On a POSITIVE note, the washrooms are AMAZING, lots of room there's a powder room with chairs for the ladies and always clean. Best kept SECRET!! If I was a tourist and needed a spot to freshen up, La Baie all the way)
It's a shame, it used to be such an iconic store, our "Macy's of Montreal" now I'll just go to Winners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've purchased a 900$ coffee table back in early October 2021 with the seller guaranteeing a delivery date by November 25th 2021. In late January 2022, after making 4 follow-up calls, I finally receive the table, but it's shattered in a million pieces. I politely ask for an exchange, but customer service wants to "audit" the pictures of my broken table before even talking about the possibility of taking it back. Therefore, I immediately send the pictures by email... A week later, I still have no news from customer service and I'm stuck with a 5'x5'x3' wood crate in the middle of my 600sqft apartment. I'm now in the process of having my credit card company refund the transaction as Hudson's bay is acting fraudulently at this point. If you're considering purchasing furniture, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Spacious store, lots of good options to choose from (from affordable, popular stuff to exquisite design items) in one pleasant place, comfortable fitting rooms, nice, but not too pushy staff. Things I bought here (clothing, kitchenware, and others) work well and look good after months and years of regular use. Speaking of clothing, I received several compliments from complete strangers, which, of course, makes me feel especially pleased with my choices and the place they come from.
