★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just wanted to let everyone know that if you need a gift for someone in the hospital, these people are fantastic. I was guided through possible options over the phone which helped make my choices easier and in the end, the package was delivered same day to a very happy recipient! Days can be so long just waiting to be well. The books gave her something to do to keep her mind occupied on other things. It is also very important to support local business which is very important to us. Thank you very much.

As I lay in a hospital bed without book or paper, and without friends in Cranbrook who could bring either to me, an employee named Vicky at Huckleberry Books went above and beyond. I'm a creative writer (author of Butterflies in the System and Sky-bound Misfit) and was getting quite bored without any writing material. Vicky saved the day by going out of her way to drop off some materials for me. It is employees like Vicky that make all the difference: thanks Vicky!!
