s	sarah hoyer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my daughter there for a haircut last week. We booked online and choose the option to have her hair washed and cut. The hairdresser did not wash her hair or even offer to. I could tell the hairdresser was getting a little irritated as my daughter had to be told numerous times to keep her head straight or sit still. My daughter is 7 and has ADHD so I understand it is hard to get her to sit still. I felt the hairdresser rushed through the haircut because of this. My daughter's hair is extremely crooked and looks awful. I'm not sure how the other stylists are with cutting kids hair, but I'm not interested in finding out. I will continue to take my daughter to our usual stylist who I know will take the time to make sure her haircut is properly done.

Great ladies altogether. I see Jess for my hair and she does a fantastic job. I have been to so many salons and this one is my absolute fave and I and glad my search for a quality and good priced salon is over. Thank you Hot Shades team #lovemystylist

The salon has been very flexible with booking appointments due to my shift work hours and they are great at meeting my needs. I would never trust anyone else with my hair! Special shout out to Regan & Kels for their talented and creative hair ideas. They are always able to give me the look I want!

They have coffee and tea refreshments, and there’s an amazing little coffee shop next door as a bonus!! Whether you know exactly what you want or you’d like the stylist to take control, these girls will have your back!!! Kelsey has been doing my hair for years and Amy my nails, and I’ll always recommend them both

Whenever I have come to her with a new style or color she has always delivered. Over the years Kelsey has always kept her skills sharp and learned new techniques. I put her through challenges by constantly changing my hair to blonde, dark brown, red and all the way back to blonde. She always manages to change my hair to my new color or style without damage and to my satisfaction. Whenever I leave the salon my hair feels healthy and fresh. Inside the building is bright, clean and a good environment if you need to spend a few hours there. Dawn the owner and stylist is friendly and professional. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone.
T	T P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got my hair done by Kelsey T. I was unhappy with the end result and had let Kelsey know right away after seeing my hair in different lighting. I asked if there was something she could do. After spending over $200 and not ending up with what I wanted or hoped for, I was expecting her to tweak it a bit for me, free of charge. She then quoted me an extra $100 to change it and was adamant that she had given me exactly what I asked for, although I had something different in mind. She then dumped me as a client and said we didn’t “vibe” and to find someone else to do my hair. I’m a naturally awkward person, I don’t “vibe” with anyone, and I hate chit chat. I was looking for a service, not a friend. Oh and she also didn’t fix my hair. *As you can by the businesses response, my point is made. Professionalism lacks at this place of business. All I was saying is as a client I was not happy with the outcome. I was a regular customer, that was the third or fourth time you’ve done my hair, I was happy all the other times. As a regular I was asking for a tweak not an overhaul. I am not saying you lack talent, I just wasn’t HAPPY, even if we communicated poorly and that was the reason for the outcome, then do something about to ensure you have a happy customer. It’s called customer service, which should always be priority in business. Also just to clarify, I said I was awkward meaning shy, I was never unpleasant nor unfriendly to you as your client.

From blonde balayage to dying my hair darker, I have always been happy with the results. Her communication has always been good regarding the options, results and cost. She has worked with me to ensure my hair looks great when I walk out of the salon, as well as a few months later with growth since my hair grows quite fast. If you are thinking of booking in with her for a consultation or appointment I highly recommend you just do it!
