★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful. But they really need to work on the road into it! Horrible potholes that will swallow your vehicle. Also…..bring your own wood unless you want to pay a small fortune for a fire.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very impressive how well maintained B.C. parks are, without charging admission for day use! Lovely park, exceptional views made for an amazing paddle experience. Calm waters and a Sunken Forest to check out at the south end of the lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful campsite. It's located right next to the caves and some great climbing. The place is busy during the day with lots of boaters and kids. Most of the actual sites are directly on the lake. The fire pits are functional enough for some basic campfire cooking. Would definitely stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot! Road turns to dirt for about 12 km but the lake and area is fantastic!!! Lots to do on the lake with the canoe and kayak rentals, hiking and of course the caves! The campground itself is child friendly but a warning that your kid has to be 5 to go into the caves. All of the sites seem to be on lake front and each one that I saw was very spacious. No running water or electricity...leave those devices at home and kick back and relax! The registration office seemed to have all of the thing you may leave behind at home which was nice! Go check this place out, another Vancouver Island gem. 4 stars!
