First time coming here. And it wasn't a pleasant experience. They only have one size coffee cup. And I never got asked if I was eating in or not. Everyone received coffee mugs and I received a take out cup. Plus they only have two gluten free options. Oat bar that tastes grainy. Don't get it and macaroons. I'm sure if you don't have a gluten allergy the pastries might be a pretty good alternative as there is more selection. The service was terrible, I even told him this was my first time there. He never offered me options of dine in. And when I said why did everyone get a mug and not I. He had no response. I didn't know there was an option of a mug. I guess when you eat in you must let him know or he will just guess you're taking out. Ok on the positive! My matcha latte made with almond milk is delicious. At least they have alternatives to dairy,

40 minutes until closing, they refused to serve sandwiches because they’re cleaning the oven already, and most pastries were already wrapped up and not available for ordering. The garbage bags were already taken out despite there were still lots of customers trying to enjoy the coffee here (customers can see the 2 large black garbage bags right beside the counter). Just close at 5pm if you guys want to close the store early so badly. Service is not welcoming. Giving 2 stars only for the iced rose latte and the nice decoration of the cafe. Edit: if you think most cafe are like this, then you’re wrong. I’ve been to many cafe and they only stop serving sandwiches or pastries 5-10 min until closing which is very reasonable.

Did a quick weekend get away from Calgary and found this nice cafe in the early morning. After such a long drive the Hawaiian latte and Almond croissant here was super yummy. Would def visit again! Thanks for the recommendation from the young pretty lady up front.

cute interior and good drinks! there aren’t that many charging outlets though and it tends to be full, so maybe not the best study spot unless you go at a less busy time.

I used to work here when I lived in Vancouver. The owner, manager and coworkers are so friendly that I was able to feel I was welcome from the very first day of my work. They are really knowledgeable about coffee and latte art techniques as well. All the regular customers are also nice. They were patient with my poor English when I spoke to take their order and explain the drinks and food menus. I can proudly say that this is the best cafe to go to for a coffee as a customer and work as a worker. Being a part of Honolulu Coffee family in Vancouver, I really enjoyed my time in Canada and felt grown up. Thank you for having me as a part of Kerrisdale community. Hope I come back again someday soon.

Kona coffee is one of my favourite coffees. Just had to come here to taste their peaberry Kona coffee. I’m a huge fan of pour over coffees. Yes it is expensive but if you love coffee you would appreciate it. Starbucks is not even in the same playing field. Starbucks coffee is so over roasted. That’s why you have to put cream and sugar to mask it. AΓ§ai Hawaiian Bowls - brings back memories of Maui. The aΓ§ai was really good texture. Was not watery and had good consistency. Lots of nuts, honey and fruit and granola. My family really enjoyed it. Brownie - was kind of hard. So not moist, a bit dry but it was yummy. Pour over 100% Kona Peaberry - really good cup coffee. Chocolate and honey notes. Pour over method used was Hario V60. Water temp was 205. I’m happy to pay the money for this coffee. I watched the pour over being done and it was well done. I didn’t time the extraction but it tasted good.

Very tasty hot chocolate and lattes. No wifi on weekends which is a disappointment and limited seating.

This place is bustling at 10:30 on a Saturday morning. We tried the Hawaiian latte, lemon cruffin and the hand drip Lokahi blend coffee…all good. Glad to see all the pastry choices available for future visits.
