★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a joke. I have been dealing with zelia Toje and it is the worst I have ever been treated. I had surgery the doctor filled out my forms for 6 weeks off after 3 weeks she told me it was time to go back to work. She told me I would need further documentation as to why he prescribed the 6 weeks I explained everything he told me and she said that's not good enough. That I would no longer be getting paid. If you have a choice please do not use this company. I have paid into my plan for 16 years had one claim and it was denied. They are bullies and crooks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They cancel appointments very last minute (1.5 hours before) without providing reason.
It seems like the counsellors and staff who work here are questionable in terms of professionalism. I’m glad I’m in a better place now thanks to my personal support group. I can’t imagine what things would be like if my mental health depended on them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall poor service and conduct. Caused my partner much distress, anxiety, lost work income, and more.
No attention to detail or client requests resulting in Harm and Distress in those seeking Help. No courtesy even to return calls when They miss an appointment time.
Very disappointing for a service that aims to be a comfort and aide.
Our experience suggests that if you have an option, you seek help elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to my appointment today and waited 30min. No one phoned me and the receptionist knew nothing. I called homewood and was on hold for 5min, then another 10min. It transpired that the counselor was sick but didn't notify the office. I am deeply concerned about using their services in the future, should they one day provide them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mobile site doesn’t work. It’s ridiculous you need a desktop computer just to find the page you need to access.
I requested a video counsellor but was given a phone appointment which didn’t suit my needs at all.
I was also matched with a counsellor from Ontario, but I’m from BC, so they weren’t able to meet my need for an later afternoon appointment. Then, the counsellor mixed up time zones and called me at the wrong time and never returned my call when they left a voicemail wondering what happened.
I had to take a half unpaid day off for this appointment and now I’m out money with nothing to show for it, three weeks before Christmas. I’ve been completely let down by homewood.
Update: I responded to the comment from the owner below. I have not been contacted nor has a follow up been conducted. The comments from the owner in these reviews a purely face service. This company is ridiculous.
