Hometown Pizza - Edmonton

Really fast pizza full of toppings and delicious worth the drive to pick up will be ordering there again. Staff was also super friendly and funny and the food much more filling. Thanks guys keep up the great work and great food

Got two individual sized pizzas: tandoori chicken and the triple pepperoni. They were 8" pizzas loaded with toppings and cheese. Great value for what we paid on a pick up order. Was expecting only one meals worth of food per pizza, but got almost another meal out of each after eating our fill. The triple pepperoni meat was delicious and the tandoori chicken was a great mix of meat and vegetables. Quite fresh and with a bit of heat. Could have used some more jalapeno but that's my own preference. The option to add cilantro to the pizza was a welcome addition. I'm a bit picky when it comes to the crust and this one exceeded expectations. Fluffy on the inside, a bit crispy on the outside. Rich but not too greasy. The owner was courteous and friendly, and pizzas were ready for pick up right at the expected time. The premises were clean and easily accessible from the street. Would absolutely recommend this new local, neighborhood pizza shop in Mill Woods.

We really enjoyed the butter paneer pizza and tandoori wings. The wings were perfectly crispy. Hopefully, in the next couple of months, the website will feature actual photos of the pizzas they make because they look as good as they taste!

I've been in Alberta for almost 10 years. This is the first time I've had a pizza out here that's this good. No other pizza place has come close to how good this pizza is. The crust, the topping, the sauce are all perfect. I can't think of one critique. I'd be willing to go as far to say this is the best pizza I've ever had, not just in Alberta but anywhere.

We got the Hawaiian and the House Special pizza. Wow, what great tasting pizza!!! Nice sized portions, great presentation, and a very friendly and down to earth owner. Found Hometown Pizza through Facebook, and after reading some reviews, I had to come and try it myself. Garry @ HT Pizza did not disappoint. Once I got home with my order, my family jumped all over it. Not much left of it now, maybe a bit for lunch next day. Will definitely come back to try their other pizzas and other menu items. Lots of positive reviews about the wings, so that'll be next. And the best part, support local!!!

Quality service and excellent pizza! We had the butter paneer pizza and bbq wings; all of which hit the spot! Their fresh ingredients and inviting atmosphere truly makes Hometown Pizza stand out from the rest. We’ll no doubt be regulars :)

Ordered Large Butter Paneer Pizza and Jalapeno Poppers. Jalapeno Poppers were really good. Pizza was delicious however I didn't enjoy the crust. It was thin and somewhat hard to chew at the end. I personally like the standard pizza crust that is bit on the thicker side.

Saw this new Pizza joint open up a couple weeks ago and have been wanting to try it. Ordered the special deal for 3 medium pizzas, got House special, meat beast (with cilantro), tandoori chicken, Greek, and Caesar salads, salt and pepper, and tandoori wings; and added on jalapeno poppers. The chicken wings were large and quite meaty, cooked exactly how one should cook chicken wings. Most places go with the tiny wings and give you a dozen, or go with the large ones and go by the pound. This place uses the large wings and gives you the right count! Will definitely be ordering wings here next time I do a wing only night during the game. Most other places use as thinly sliced pieces of meat throughout, hometown uses giant thick pieces and generously spreads them about like a pizza should be. Normally I don't like crust (unless it's stuffed) but their dough/crust was a light, fluffy, and just the right amount of crisp, almost like a Chicago style deep-dish. The specialty options were definitely different from your usual big box stores and had a unique twist on their own specialties. Both salads used very very fresh vegetables, usually when you go to a pizza joint you tend to get wilted or soggy leaves, HT didn't make the salad until I got there to pick it up to ensure it was fresh. This made it last longer and fresher for when I got home. Staff were friendly and appeared to be proud of their work. While this review is based on the food, quality, and service itself, I fear this restaurant may get drowned out amongst other similar pizza establishments nearby. Would really like to see some more unique offerings, for example, Versato's in the north side is the only one in the city to offer "monster thick" pizza's. Would be interesting to see something similar and/or unique to them added to the menu.
