★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went today for opening day. I was also able to speak with one of the owners. Extremely nice gentleman. Store is beautifully laid out and extremely helpful staff. I had mentioned to the owner that my small concerns about having treats come from nepal and brazil. He assured me that all the food they are carrying is checked and checked again. I very much appreciated his time and made me feel more comfortable. Just a picky pet mom. looking forward to shopping in your store more often.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was so excited for this store to open because of their selection but was very disappointed. Nobody greets you or even asks if you need help. I don't think I even saw any staff until I got to the tills. I was in the store for an hour looking and recieved no help. The store also has a warehouse feel to it. It's not very cozy. From what I've heard from other people that have went there is the same as my experience. No staff anywhere to be found and if you manage to find somebody, they have no idea how to answer your question and don't even try to find out from someone else. Maybe train your staff a little better before opening. Give them confidence to help customers. Great selection though. And clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was so excited when this store opened. Well stocked and something for everyone.
Since that day, when the service was so good, this store seems to be slipping into the typical and familiar big pet store that I have always found disappointing in a few different ways.
Today, I watched a woman allow her dog to taste a number of bully treats and chews, before picking one. There was no clerks on the floor watching the bulk bins especially. These accessible food items need to be monitored for the health of all four legged customers.
I was also hoping for clerks with more knowledge of the products they sell and a good knowledge of the animals they serve. One of the big reasons I do not frequent the other larger pet stores in town.
I find I am best served in the small pet stores here in Kelowna. Prices are competitive. Service is friendly and attentive. Good quality products and healthy food choices. The staff I have found are always able to answer my questions and sometimes educate me. All in all a much more satisfying shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for opening day and was amazed with the selection! If they can keep the store stocked it will be very popular. They have tons of options for Canadian and American made brands which was nice to see. The store looks great and is laid out dogs one one side and cats on the other (as far as I could tell no fish/birds/reptiles/small animal stuff) will definitely be coming back here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have used Home Alive Pets for sometime now by shipping from their Alberta location. I find their pricing competitive and better be than local pet stores. They don't sell cheap stuff. They sell name brand products. I buy all my dog food from Home Alive Pets. I'm happy to see they are now here in Kelowna, it will save with shipping times. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store is fantastic. They always have great sales on different product and they have a good selection of dog food and treats with different protein options. Absolutely the best pet store! There are plenty of staff available, and they DO in fact check in with you to see if you need help...but they don't do it in an annoying pushy way. Im not sure what those other reviews are talking about.
Prepare to spend some money here.. not because it's too expensive, but because there's great selection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great and wonderful store with a wide variety of pet supply for people who care about their pets. Nice to see no cheap bad pet food brands here. The staff albeit new were very friendly and helpful i signed up for their membership and will be stopping by again soon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great store! Friendly helpful staff, very good layout and selection of goods. I Had the loveliest cashier today that was so patient with my anxious dog and hyper kids and also had some product recommendations to help with my dogs anxiety. 100% would recommend shopping here!
