S	Sergey Kublanovskiy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The reviews here are true. Applied for a secured Visa card on April 24th, got approved and asked to send the deposit, which I did. It has been a month, there is no card yet received. Moreover, they sent me another email asking for the deposit! I've you money already, you want more?! Called the customer service, they said that they might not have received the money. Well, how can that be if I sent it thru my bank and have a confirmation that the money had been sent. Awful experience so far. Will be reporting to better business bureau.

My mortgage specialist Karen Pankratz made the process as simple as possible. There were a few delays along the way but of no fault from Home Trust. In the end Karen was able to help me successfully close the deal!
b	bn880 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Visa is trash. They don't have your back. They always send the statements late, so you can often miss a payment. You have literally a week or less before you need to pay and even. They once sent me a statement weeks too late, and then made it a hassle to even recover there interest charges... Recently I opened a single chargeback case on this VISA after years of use and at least 80k of transactions, and they failed to send me the first notice for evidence that they need, which then gave me 24h to FAX or Snail mail evidence for a legitimate case. I tried calling them multiple times to allow me more time and it was not possible. Rigged! You can't even EMAIL anything to them :D In 2022! In the end they didn't approve the legitimate chargeback request of mine, even though I did provide faxed evidence with photos and full email history! Then when a car broke down in the middle of winter and my mother had to use the towing feature at the side of the road, they refused to tow the car to a place of her choosing (and for us to pay to cover any additional costs this might incur)! Very bad card, violating consumer protection laws.

Every transaction is smooth and effortless. He is one of the best underwriters I have worked with. He is knowledgeable and extremely efficient when it comes to any file presented to him. He is excellent at problem solving which is why he is so good at what he does. He’s great at communicating and keeping the rest of the parties in the transaction in the loop. It is always a pleasure working with him.

Not all emails get answered, to many people involved. I stayed with Home Trust because I thought it would be easier to refinance if I already had my mortgage with them. I've read reviews about bi-weekly payments, I've requested the same. I'm very nervous that they haven't done it, because no one has confirmed it. I've asked 2 different people. The process continues.I'm feeling very uneasy, not impressed.

I have a great renewal rate last year with HT, however, my situation changed, I need a bigger house ? and I want to keep my mortgage with them with the current rate. Unfortunately HT doesn't do porting, what kind of a mortgage lender doesn't have all that services related to a mortgage? I am abit disappointed about that. The lady that picked up my call won't let me speak with anyone, she just said we don't have that options. Even Equitable, which is HT direct competitor has mortgage porting options. HT needs to keep up with its customers changing needs.
K	Kendra Priestley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not get mortgage with this company. I was dealing with a broker to get my mortgage renewal done. He was rushing me to just sign the documents, but I was clear about my intentions of using my current financial institution. He said I was running out of time and me porting my mortgage shouldn’t be a problem. Now that I’m trying to payout my mortgage with them, I’m being told I’m locked in, they said they will not allow me to exit the mortgage before maturity date even if I’m willing to pay the penalty. So I was given false information Not sure what kind of a mortgage company refuses to take responsibility for there staff giving false information. At this point I just want out I want nothing to do with this company moving forward. be careful and read the terms carefully. Definitely do not recommend them at all. All they care about Is taking advantage of people and their money. Truly disappointed with this company and my experience.
