Because my mother was reluctant to switch, it was going to be difficult but Deborah (the owner) met with her and my mother liked her instantly. I was there for their meeting and saw how loving and compassionate Deborah was.We were able to make the transition and we were greatly impressed by the care their PSW staff provided to her. Every family member who met the PSW's told me they were impressed, and how lovely they were to my mother.They were with her, providing comfort, when she passed away. I highly recommend them.

They are a very responsive and supportive company and all the staff members are so welcoming and encouraging. They take the time to appreciate their employees and check in at regular times to ensure you are happy with how things are going and they always asked for feedback on how they could ever improve your experience. Excellent employer, I would work there for life if I wasn't moving on to work as a Registered Nurse. I should also point out how much they strive for excellent care to their clients. They have so many resources available that can be used for different client needs that make their services above and beyond what other companies offer. They really care about the work they are involved in and it really shows.

Domenic and Deborah clearly understand the very specialized needs of cognitive care and their dementia care training is demonstrated by their staff. The PSW who cared for our mom was caring, engaging, personable, used multiple strategies and always gave a little bit more than we expected (like always making sure the dishes were washed before she left). She worked hard, was great company and really did feel like family! We will miss her presence in our home when my parents move into care. Thanks, D&D&C for everything you offered.

A	Allie Brosel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After having a horrible experience with a company in a different city, Home Care Assistance of Barrie went well beyond our expectations for helping our mother with Alzheimer’s. Vedwattie provided excellent care and we were regularly kept up to date. The previous company would just not show up one day and we’d have to call around to figure out why - typically it was that the caregiver told my mom they had to switch days. Well, she has Alzheimer’s… she doesn’t remember and can’t communicate that to anyone else. Home Care was always on the ball calling with updates and changes, they understood her needs and what we asked them to do to help her, and it was really great that we had access to all updates and could ask questions/comment through an online portal. Highly recommend!

He can be a difficult patient and Peter was incredible at bringing lightness to his day, driving him to appointments in the city, and just being so accommodating and professional. It was such a relief to know he was in good hands and building a relationship with his caregiver. We couldn’t be happier or more thankful for the time we had with Peter.
