When I'm looking for takeout, I'm looking for quantity over quality. With Thai Bamboo you get both! The Pad Thai as you would expect was very good, but the green curry, calamari, black bean noodles and mango curry were very good. Complex and interesting flavours! Well worth the money spent and plenty of leftovers. Value for $$$, I'm looking forward to dining in once restrictions are lifting. Thank you

Definitely going back again. Had the golden noodle with chicken and it was delicious. Portions were perfect with just the right balance of veggies, noodles & chicken. Would recommend this place and there menu items have flexible options.

Due to covid, we have experienced some terrible customer service and food quality at other restaurants. We were skeptical when we came here and made sure to read the reviews. The reviews suggested that we get the Crispy Vegetable Spring Rolls, and they were absolutely delicious (10/10). We also got Tofu Pad Thai (7/10) and Red Chicken Curry (10/10). The portion sizes are generous for sure, but the star of this restaurant is the vibe (10/10) and the staff members (11/10). They were so so so very nice to us and so warm and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back here again in the future.

Last long weekend before the summer ends and school starts, we had been to Orilla parks and to the lake and then to Barrie waterfront , had a wonderful day at both the places ,we walked till our legs hurt... Then we got a recommendation from one of the friends to visit this place... Everything here is so perfect and droolworthy that you would love each and every bite of it.You will relish it to a larger extent , huge portions..Authentic Thai taste...Lovely decor... Highly recommended if anyone is in and around Barrie.... The chicken Tom Yum Soup had the perfect stint of lemongrass and turmeric and a little squeeze of lemon.. The cashwes nuts and stir fry came i loaded with chicken ,cashews and veggies.. with the thick sweet and sour curry or sauce base.. Everything we were served was just awesome and value for money.. one should visit this place ? Will definitely go back again.

There isn't any flavour unless you are asking for a spice level but spice isn't always an indication of flavour and that's what the food lacked. I expect a Thai restaurant to have flavourful cuisine, that's why I'm choosing to eat there. Good portion sizes though.

The quality of a frozen entree, not a restaurant. First, the Pad Thai was missing all the vegetables (except the bean sprouts) and peanuts and had absolutely no flavor. Second, we paid extra for sticky rice and got under cooked Basmati? And, third, the Garlic Vegetables were more of bad soup with minced garlic from a jar. As a former kitchen manager and chef, it was the worst Thai I've had in Barrie!

Very disappointed this time. Green curry is watered down -- no flavour at all. Vegetables - some over cooked and some undercooked. Pad Thai overcooked and noodles were "broken" into small pieces. Again, no flavour. Had pad Thai last week and was much better. Not sure if I'll ever go back after today's experience.

Ordered UberEats from here a couple days ago. I called the restaurant ahead of time to ask if their dishes could be made vegan. The young lady on the phone was very pleasant and helpful, and wrote down my questions so that she could go and ask the kitchen staff for me. Luckily she said all the dishes I asked about can be made vegan. I ended up ordering the veggie spring rolls, green curry with tofu, and vegetable fried rice. I hate to say it but the only dish I enjoyed and that was actually tasty was the green curry with tofu. The veg spring rolls were packed with glass noodles and very little bits of mushroom and carrot, and was completely flavourless. The vegetable fried rice was kind of sad looking and colourless. I don’t even think any soy sauce was added… which is kind of crucial to a fried rice, no? It was flavourless as well, lacking any salt and pepper even. The green curry with tofu was actually nice to my surprise, and was flavourful with a nice balance of sweetness from the coconut milk and some light spice. The spice could be more but I understand not everyone is used to spice, maybe the restaurant could offer different spice levels for dishes for their customers. I appreciate the restaurant’s helpful staff and service but their food could definitely be improved.
