Update: we went to grab a bite the night of an Oilers game, it was buuusy. Rather than turn us away or make us wait they asked us and another couple if we would sit together! What a great idea! We could of said no but we agreed and we met a really great couple from Ontario, it was so remarkable! Thank you H&A ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Layout of the space was awesome! Love the design. Food was awesome. Was a little slow being prepared but I went on the first night so it was expected as they were still learning recipes. Can't wait to stop by again now that they've been open and making Edmonton their home!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome experience at Home and Away last night for the oilers game, drinks were delivered promptly and the chicken tenders with tater tots was fantastic. Perfect place to watch the game and good vibes all around. Our server Kendall was excellent and kept us hydrated and happy our entire visit. Definitely will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love coming here. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and the environment is great, especially on a game day. The patrons are a variety of ages, and when the basement is open it turns into a little dance party. I don't specifically come here for food, but the food that I have had is great. An excellent addition to Ice District!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had such a great experience at Home and Away. Convenient location in the heart of downtown and the best place to go any day of the week. I used to love going to Greta and Pint but now Home and Away is the only place I ever want to go! The crowd is a complete mix of people and I always run into old friends when I’m here. Great bar snacks and large array of drinks on tap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have driven by many times and always wanted to stop and check this bar out. We arrived at 5:20 with tickets for the 7:30 James Taylor concert. There should have been plenty of time to enjoy a few drinks and some food before the concert. We ordered wings and the Monday pizza deal. At 6:35 we had not received our pizza so we inquired with our server. Finally at 7:05 we still hadn't received our food and we had to go. We noticed that many other tables never received any food. There are many other great choices in the area I have to say we were extremely disappointed and would definitely not go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would 10/10 recommend! Extremely cool little spot in the heart of downtown close to Rogers Place. Awesome place at all hours of the day: lunch, happy hour, dinner, watching sports or going out to party. Staff are awesome, food is great and everything is reasonably priced. Make a reservation though because this place is popular and busy!
