Pub/restaurant/coffee shop/music lounge a few stair steps below Jasper Ave and 105th street. You can’t miss the big red star. Pub entrance after 5pm is to the left.
It’s my love affair between the perfect ambience, food quality and exceptional service experience.
The authenticity and hospitality served up with some intelligent conversation is unlike anything else.
From the perfect lighting, classic wood interior, sound of music and cozy warmth of the room temperature…this is my number one for peace, connection, work and contemplation.
A coffee shop by day, pub into the evening and music lounge experience on weekend nights, they serve up impeccable service and have an unequivocal vibe.
Their newly renovated washrooms are heavenly, and the COVID-19 precautionary measures are perfected down to a tee.
I highly recommend frequent visits, however their take out and pick up is just as tasty as the dine in.
A visit here will surely soothe your soul, no matter what time or day of the week (except for Sunday and Monday...they are closed to take a breather)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pubs have a timeless transcendence to their lustre, and this place puts the memories back where they should be. The drinks keep coming and the smiles keep growing, the atmosphere was lively, staff was attentive and all was as it should've been. Enjoyed it a lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The yummiest high quality food (pastas, crostinis, carpaccios, focaccias, Italian Heaven) paired with great drinks (infinite Negronis), great atmosphere, great music, and great staff. Red Star rocks. Also it’s a coffee shop called Lock Stock during the day which ALSO rocks.
