They were so sweet and thoughtful, having a little bag of treats with a lovely note for my cat (the spoiled old boy got TWO treat bags infact). The breakfast had a great selection and was a perfect way to start the day!
C	Christine Ferguson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service. Clean, fresh room; large with mini fridge / freezer, microwave and Keurig machine. Complimentary breakfast was okay; the eggs (scrambled) were really yolky tasting - not sure if they were from a powder. Check out was easy as well.
K	Km29 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family had a wonderful weekend stay! Our room was super clean with the most comfortable bed/pillows. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay with no problems. The staff were very friendly and made check-in/check-out super easy and accommodating! Will definitely stay here again.

This wonderful lady at the Continental breakfast lounge, I believe her name is Wynona, let me take as many left overs as I needed since not a lot of people came for breakfast and every store in town is closed for New Year's Day. Receptionist was also very pleasant. Really appreciate that gesture and wish best New Year's for all the staff!
C	Catherine Fairbairn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great check-in. Picked a nice quiet room. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast had great selections at 6:30am. Not happy that it was back to serve your own, everyone touching the tongs etc.

We unknowingly booked with a a terrible hotel on memorial drive, then tried the other terrible hotel across from that, which had the worst smell of stale cigarettes and dope. After a slight mental breakdown I found the Holiday Inn and they were so amazing. They were welcoming, the rooms were so clean, the customer service at the front desk was top notch and they even gave my dog a treat bag. Then to top it off the next morning the free breakfast was amazing, tons of food and the staff in the breakfast room were super friendly. This was the best customer service I've ever received at any hotel. I would stay here again for sure. Especially if you're coming off a long day of driving - this is the spot to pull in.
s	steph on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking to have a bit of a staycation and chose the Holiday Inn because it had a pool. We were not disappointed. From the second we walked in the experience was great. The staff were super friendly and attentive. They upgraded us from a standard room to a suite. The suite was very nice. Super clean. Spacious. The pool was to be blocked in one hour increments to maintain social distancing, but we were able to swim for much longer than that and no one else had the time booked. The hot tub was also nice. Free hot breakfast in the breakfast room was great. Eggs were a bit dry and there didn't seem to be any ketchup anywhere. But overall the breakfast was great as well. Plenty of choices and great value for the price. Will stay again for sure. And have already recommended it to friends and family.
C	Choder on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently stayed at the Holliday Inn Express in Thunder Bay for my first time. The manager and rest of staff were extremely pleasant. The hotel was very nice, rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Wasn’t noisy and easy to relax after a long day. Breakfast buffet was a nice touch in the mornings and very tasty. I did not not use the pool but also a nice option to have. Mikes Roadhouse restaurant is in the same parking lot and has great food, ate there everyday. Great selection! I definitely recommend staying at this hotel to anyone that will be in that area.
