Noisy – I booked this hotel 4 months in advance and asked for a quiet area of the hotel, and we arrived we were given a room by the elevator with heavy traffic walking/running by our room, with kids/families shouting. Cleanliness – Definitely not up to the usual standards of an IHG hotel brand. We booked a room with a kitchenette and the drawers contained dirty, unwashed linens. We were advised that because of Covid protocols, that housekeeping would come on Wednesday, which was fine with us. Housekeeping also came on Friday (our last day of our 1-week stay). When we got back to our room that evening, we immediately noticed that the cell phone charger that had been plugged into the lamp stand was missing. We notified the front desk right away, but all they said was that there was no manager on duty and to come back tomorrow. I said that we were leaving the next day and he gave me the hotel manager’s business card. When I got home, I requested that the hotel manager replace the cell phone charger with a new one to replace the one that was stolen. After months and months going back and forth with the hotel manager, she finally sent me a dirty, frayed charging cable that she had retrieved from the hotel’s lost and found. She said that the matter was done and added that she didn’t even have to provide me with a replacement because it’s hotel policy that they are not responsible for anything that goes missing from your room. Staff – The staff were not trained properly. When I asked about the pool hours, they said that I didn’t have to book a time, but to come to the front desk for a key. When we came down early one morning to swim, the Front Desk Manager said that we needed to book a time to swim. We said no one is even in the pool right now, so the front desk finally relented and said we could swim. When we checked out on Saturday, the Front Desk Manager wasn’t wearing a mask (even though it was a requirement in the lobby). I advised him about the theft from our room and he was not overly concerned. He gave me the manager’s business card and waved me away. I would not recommend staying at this hotel, but if you do, remember to lock up all your valuables. I know this hotel will never get my business again.

Our stay at this hotel was great! From booking the date to the time of our checkout, all hotel staff had been friendly and helpful. Niha from the front desk was very thoughtful with all of our request, she made sure my family will be happy to see our room where I requested to include surprise birthday treats for my daughter and my husband. They were very happy, Niha was excellent! I also would like to thank the manager, Elena for calling me to make sure our needs in our room were met. She is also warm and welcoming, happy to talk with! This hotel has the best costumer service. My kids loved the pool and I slept like a baby in their cozy beds! The sink in room 317 just needed a little check there because water is going down slow than usual.

I know, it is in the middle of nowhere, which is saying something for Vancouver. But you know what? That's the benefit: absolute quiet. Excellent facilities, a great breakfast buffet, and the staff are so friendly and professional. We had an excellent time there and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Highly recommended.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE GOOD REVIEWS. We stayed for a week on a family vacation to BC. This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Rude and untrained staff. Property not kept up. Housekeeping left dirty linens in our kitchenette. We had an iPhone charger block and cable ($60.00) go "missing" from our room on the day before we were to check out. Manager says the hotel is not responsible for any belongings that go "missing" from your hotel room. Loud/noisy. TERRIBLE

Positive: Nice breakfast with decent food & beverage selection, making the hotel good value for the cost. Staff were friendly and kept the food well stocked during the busy breakfast rush. Nice amenities at the hotel. Negative: When packing up to up my suitcase to check out, I found a small bug crawling across the bed. Brought it to the office in a cup; the manager claims it was not a bedbug, but a carpet beetle. Google those things...I don't want to bring those home either!!!

Great Hotel: simple, clean breakfast nice staff, great gym and pool with wonderful showers to get clean before the swim and after!! The room: well, the carpets all need deep cleaning. Unfortunately we had 3 tries at rooms and they all smelled like sweaty hockey gear! The lady who took us through 3 rooms, which I accepted the 3rd one which was the least smelly of them. Unfortunately it was still bad! We didn't have enough time to get another hotel or we would have. The carpets need a deep clean and it would have been given a great review. We won't come back because of that, unfortunately.

We had to book this hotel through Event Connect for Volleyball Nationals. For a hotel that puts itself out there for teams it was an average to sub par experience. Staff was hit and miss. New guy at desk was trying but misinformed on some basics, cost of laundry for example. Most other staff was good except for one who was was extremely rude to any questions, asked about possible early breakfast and met with derision. I get having a bad day and not being able to accommodate requests but manner in which they were handled was very poor. Pool was too dirty to get into, could not see the bottom. If a bunch of 14 year old girls won’t get into a pool you know it’s bad. Breakfast was good, rooms were dated and basic but serviceable. OK hotel but better options.

Pretty good overall. Pool could've been warmer and cleaner (water was a bit cloudy). Shower pressure was FANTASTIC, though part of my handle was broken so it wasn't as easy to know what I needed to do to adjust the water temperature. Closet had debris and a hanger on the ground so looked like housekeeping wasn't as thorough as they could've been, but room was otherwise clean. Bed was quite firm. I appreciated there was a mix of both soft and firm pillows. Breakfast was a pretty good selection. Coffee was not good. Warm cinnamon rolls were a definite plus. Check in and out was super smooth and fast. Friendly staff. Nice selection of food and drink items in the little store by reception. A good amount of external noise was not so pleasant, though. Anyone talking while walking down the hall was fairly loud in the room, and I could hear people walking in the room above mine.
