We live in a furnished two bedroom rental (Premiere Suites) in the Hintonburg Connection. It is modern and bright, deserving a five star rating EXCEPT for the access to the parking. You can literally count the number of cars that have "yellow" scratch marks because of the extremely unfriendly narrow passage ways. Premiere Suites only has garage spaces on the lowest level P3! The scratch on our car rental set us back by 1,000 quid. So unless you have a smart car or a bike, do not avail of the parking. Alternatively the building can do what others have done: place side seals on the corner walls to prevent such mishaps

Had a nice and organized welcoming for when I moved into my bachelor unit! I have lived here for almost a year now and I still love it. New appliances, thick walls, great views no matter where you are facing... all great qualities! If you’re looking for a luxury apartment at a good price, check this building out for sure!

We have lived here for over a year now, and are ready to leave. The building has nice amenities, is trendy and centrally located, but finishes are cheap and management is disorganized (even their office, where they speak with current and prospective tenants, is still a mess over a year in with boxes and papers all over the place). We have had maintenance issues that have been forgotten about or told they cannot be fixed. We told management about the broken caulking in our shower as large amounts of water are seeping under the shower floor, likely causing long-term damage or mold, and maintenance gave up after one attempted fix even though we were quick to inform them it didn't work. Clearly they don't seem to care much about the long-term structural health of the building or the tenants who might be exposed to whatever mold inevitably takes resident in our bathroom. We also explicitly asked management upon moving in if there would be any short term rentals, we were told this was not happening and would not happen, only to find out recently that units on our floor are being rented to people for short stays (you can find one of these adds on premiere suites). It has been a revolving door of new tenants on our floor, many of whom are not wearing masks. Apart from pandemic related risks, these short term guests also seem to have access to shared spaces and the mail room and probably the parking garage (even if not authorized) because all you need is the front door key fob to open the garage door. When we asked management about this, they claimed they didn't know anything about it, as it was likely the property manager organizing this. And the parking garage? It is packed so tight that we, along with many others, have damaged our car trying to navigate it. Just this week, we returned home to a random car in our parking parking spot. When we informed the on-site building rep, despite being new and helpful, she clearly had inadequate training and resources for dealing with this issue. The master list of parking spaces that she had access to was not up to date, and spots that were marked as open on their spreadsheet were occupied by unknown vehicles upon checking the garage. It took multiple trips to find a parking spot that was actually vacant where we could safely park our car for the night. Either their information was out of date, or they don't realize that tenants in the building are clearly parking in empty spaces without paying, since all you need is a key fob to open the garage doors. Not fair to the tenants who are paying monthly, or asking guests to used the paid visitor parking. It took close to an hour to find a resolution, and we were told that we would hear from them via email about next steps in the morning, but so far nobody has contacted us. Despite being a brand new building, doors (including the parking garage door) break regularly, there was already water leaking from the roof in the main corridor at one point, and the elevators break ALL the time. It is not unusual to find that only one elevator is working for the entire building for hours on end. I wouldn't encourage someone to live here long term as I am really excited to leave.

The building is still under construction over a year since opening (despite the fact that construction continued throughout the pandemic). You can still hear the near-daily drilling if you live on the lower floors, for which there is no notification. This isn’t great for anyone working from home. They also hiked rents dramatically since the first occupants moved in, with no compensation for a six month delay in the amenities opening. Other rental buildings in the area offer much better service.

I had a warm & welcoming experience with my move in and transition into my new studio unit at Hintonburg Connection. The leasing agents, residential coordinators, and maintenance team at Colonnade Bridgeport have been nothing short of professional and courteous. They are quick to address any issues tenants have and were happy to answer any questions I had about the property. I'm sure I speak for all the residents when I say I feel absolutely safe and secure during these challenging times during Covid, as there is a masking policy in place throughout all common areas. The company has a pet friendly policy in the building and I see lots of furry friends in the lobby. It is so rare these days for a property management company to allow pets! I am looking forward to the opening of the building's amenities such as the brand new fitness room located on the top floor. Not to mention the breathtaking views of the Gatineau hills and Parliament from the rooftop terrace/BBQ patio common area, summer cannot come soon enough! I love being in the heart of Hintonburg and having easy access to the LRT and trendy Wellington west village. This is one of Ottawa's most sought after neighbourhoods! I highly recommend.

Just moved into the building as first time renters. We are so grateful to Emilio's responsiveness and the whole onboarding process as new tenants. It was smooth, organized and we felt very supported - given the very short timeline we were working with from find a place to live to move in, this was really impressive. The unit is beautiful. I have every reason to believe the support we'll get from Colonnade will match that we had from the leasing experience. Thanks!!!

I love this apartment complex. It's clean, modern, and the one-bedroom corner units (floor plan 1A) get gorgeous light and great views for a reasonable price. I also never hear any noise from other units, which is a huge plus for me. As long as I'm still living in Ottawa, I wouldn't move. The elevators can be a bit unreliable but it's not a big deal to me. I've never had to wait long when I do have to wait.

My first apartment is with Hintonburg Connection and I can truly say they offer amazing service to their tenants. The apartments are super modern and clean. The staff are super friendly and nice. I never had any issues since i moved in. If you have questions, the staff are alway there to answer you and accommodate you. The rooftop and gym is very well maintained. You will not be disappointed and this is truly my honest opinion.
