★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had nothing but bad experiences with this place. My sisters cat got out. they got him. we got him back. The next day he got out again they took him again.
My cat got out wasn't even in there 2 hours had to pay $120. I called and they said in a rude tone "In 10 minutes we close, better hurry". when I got there I asked why they didn't check his tattoo. They said he was vicious. This cat walked in front of 2 trucks to be petted by us and we took him in. He would let anyone pet him. Yeah a real threat he was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To the staff working at this animal shelter- it’s not very nice or professional to announce that people lie in their reviews. Everyone has their own experience with businesses, and judging by all of the negative comments, you should review your day to day operation and how you treat the dogs and people. I have a dog that was rescued from here, I am currently fostering him, and I’m glad he’s out of there. Please be kind to the animals, they need us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately we had a mishap the other day and our puppy, Henry, was brought to Hillside Kennels for a night.
When we arrived to pick him up the next day I was quite impressed with the large, spacious area for the dogs outside. Inside was very large and clean! It reassured me that Henry was in good hands for the night!
The staff was also very helpful with some questions we had and very knowledgeable.
I definitely recommend Hillside Kennels if you need a dog sitter!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No one likes "the pound" but these ladies do an excellent job caring for all the animals.
The animals come first always!
No one likes having to pay a fee to get their dog out of the pound but I would pay any amount to have my dog secured by loving people, safe and looked after if my dog ever got lost.
This isn't an easy job I respect them greatly for what they do, you know their hearts are into making sure every dog gets back home or into a reputable rescue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful and affectionate cat turned up on our farm. It had an injured paw, looked skinny, and was hungry. After posting about the cat to see if I could find an owner, I received no replies. In the meantime, the cat didn't leave our door for days so I ended up calling Hillside. They were kind enough to take in the poor thing, and assured me it would be taken care of and likely quickly adopted from the animal rescue center. I am grateful places like this exist and thankful this cat will get a second chance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We adopted a stray from Hillside almost 4 years ago. Kaylee was just 3 1/2 months old when she was found. They made sure she was cleaned up and healthy, and when we went to meet her, she was so happy and spoiled. I'm so grateful to Hillside for taking care of our little furbaby and giving her a fresh start to her young life. She's still spoiled, happy and healthy today ?
