I bought two chickens today at this location. When I arrived home, I was very surprised, both of them were without one leg… I am very disappointed.

Our family always goes shopping here because the quality of dairy products and meat and greens is high and satisfactory. The main cons of this place are the prices that are higher compared to Walmart and No frills (but I would not compare them as the food there doesn’t meet my customer’s expectations). I had a negative experience only once when I bought blue cheese there and it was spoiled... My advice: always check the expiration date on the goods you’re going to buy.

Great selection of imported products. I always come for Panettone and the variety is amazing. The produce is fresh and the meat is great, good cuts and quality. This location seems fairly new, well organized, clean and with washrooms. The staff is courteous and very friendly, specially the chef in the pastry section. The way you go in and out of the supermarket is a bit weird, most grocery stores allow you to use any door for entry and exit.

Very clean on the inside and an above average selection of ethnic products. As someone who is not from eastern Europe (where a considerable amount of their selection seems to come from in the ethnic space) but who likes to dive into other countries cusines, it's been an excellent springboard. - they also have all the standard things you would expect in a grocery store in the GTA

Great experience... Clean and fully stocked. Fresh produce. Great customer service. Little pricy but no so bad.

My personal experience with this store has varied greatly over the months. The good: store is spotless clean, produce is fresh and of good quality. Great variety of international products. The bad: Produce costs are on the expensive side and sometimes just ridiculous albeit on the expensive side (11 CAD/kg for Belgian endives feels like theft to me). Price of packaged goods is typically higher than at competing stores (est. 10%). The ugly: staff is rude and seems more interested in checking their phone / talking to colleagues… I can appreciate many would prefer not to work for what is probably a low salary, having to deal with potentially rude customers… particularly on a weekend. My latest experience was the worst to date: I had to go back to the store due to 2 β€œmistakes” on my receipt (both coincidentally in favour of the store). I was told I should have checked immediately (I guess it was a mistake on my end to trust the staff). No greeting and no apologies. Thankfully, there are a lot of other stores in the area… will definitely steer clear of this location.

This Highland Farms store in Maple is a large store with many well stocked specialty departments (meat, seafood, produce, dairy, bakery, deli, hot table, ready to heat). The store is organized, clean and well managed with appropriate Covid19 protocols in place. I recommend and will return.
