Docking a star for the late processing, and docking a star because they insisted on doing an unnecessary “furnace cleaning” on a problem that they announced beforehand was a blown fuse.

T	Tom Dean on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After searching around for a wood-burning insert for our cottage fireplace for a number of years, we visited the Thompson's at Hearth and Leisure a few times to learn about the various features and options they offered. They provided clear and unhurried information to us, and ensured we had all our questions answered. Also, it was important to us to have a Canadian manufacturer available to us, which was no problem at H&L. We selected an Enviro stove, (from BC) with cast-iron front face and large air-fan, which after two seasons, has proven to have been a great choice - as it cut our winter heating costs to less than half. Al Thompson and his crew not only provided full installation and certification, but is always available by phone whenever I have questions and need advice. For our next wood-burning stove purchase, I would only go to Hearth and Leisure.
