As anticipated; I often experience difficulties in separating conversations in crowded environments (malls, dinner parties, etc.) but with my new "mold fitted" technology I am finding that I am able to hear persons closer to me more clearly. Trisha the audiologist was very friendly, explained what was going to happen and what to expect. She had answers to all my questions and didn’t have to look them up. She was informative and didn’t try to push a hearing aide sale in me. In fact she didn’t recommend purchasing one at this time but said to wait and monitor my hearing. To come back in one year and be retested on if I experience any changes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought hearing aids over 3 years ago, and have returned about once a year for a "review": they've always been *very* good and I'd have NO complaints. Received an invitation a few days ago to go for another annual hearing check. Contrary to my own initial suspicion about the invitation, there was never a hint of "marketing" or "sales". So, yesterday, I saw Claire, and was *very* impressed: she is friendly, polite, pleasant, very patient, highly competent, and entirely professional. Never once suggesting I needed anything "new", she carefully checked my hearing aids and looked for possible firmware updates; she lucidly explained the difference between "hearing problems" and "brain processing issues". I found the entire experience very informative and genuinely interesting. I'd recommend Hearing Life Abbotsford - and Claire, of course - without reservation.
