Harbourfront’s Skating rink is nestled along the beautiful shoreline of Lake Ontario. The view is absolutely astonishing. I recently visited on a mild and sunny day; it was an amazing experience! The ice is well maintained, the space is well laid out, & there is plenty to see around the area. If you are looking to rent skates make sure the rental shop is open as it was not open when I was there. Be sure to check it out asap as the last day of skating this season is Sunday February 27th.

The Center Waterfront, also known as Harbourfront is a must see for anyone venturing around Toronto's waterfront. The area is a mix of restaurants, skating rink during winter, concert and performance venue during summer and has some of the most striking views of Toronto Islands and the inner harbor or Lake Ontario. If you're lucky, you can experience the moon rising from the Port Lands and every few minutes a plane landing or taking off from Billy Bishop Airport. I was lucky enough to grab a few snaps of the frozen lake with -30 Celsius real feel temp outside. If you love the city or nature, you'll definitely enjoy this spot or even a walk on the famous boardwalk is definitely worth the trip downtown.

Very nice view of the city. Dress warm during winter months. Parking is expensive $5 per 1/2 hour or $25 max after 6pm on weekdays. Take public transit or park farther away and enjoy the walk there.

Made a special trip to Harbourfront Centre for the outdoor Nordic Lights displays. There are 6 in total and accessible untill 11 pm. This is an multimedia display of lights, with some music and interactive elements. Worth a visit but note there was no where to warm up so be sure and dress for the weather. Definitely many Instagramable moments.

Decided to check out the Nordic Lights exhibition at Harbourfront. It was fascinating. We had a blast! Each display featured Nordic and Canadian light art. It makes for the perfect winter outdoor activity. It's a free event and runs until February 21st.

Perfect place to capture sunset. Awesome feeling and calmness this place brings to your heart. Long walkway along the side of sea, good and clean sitting arrangements. Surrounded with multiple food stalls to fill your appetite on the way. Facilitated with water taxi and wide sight billy bishop airport runway.

One of the best places to go for a walk on a good day. Breezy and beautiful view of the lake. Perfect for viewing the sunset. Lots of people taking their pets for a stroll, others come for jogging along the lake. You can have a picnic on one of the many benches.
