r	ramona taharally on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a date, day or night, lots of restaurants & events (rink has had live bands) to attend. The rink has DJ nights (check website for details like time, Saturday, music genre), never too crowded & skate/locker rentals! It so safe I usually leave my shoes in a bag by the benches. They have great lounge areas with pit fires & cozy seating, free drinks from Natrel or Tim Hortons truck, there is a rink cafe for a hot drink & basic snacks like fries. At night in the shadow of the CN tower, it's so romantic for a couple's skate date. The lake looks amazing when it's frozen, can be windy, but if dressed right & actively skating you should stay warm! Best time is a snowy night, city lyte up & ? music.. Great times!! There are great eateries within walking distance (Queens Quay Mall) & you can warm up with a few drinks after the rink, most have great views of the lake, perfect winter spot. Parking available but you need a credit card for most lots & it's pricey, street car from union is great & less hassle. Fabulous summer program paddle boats on the water for rent & live band concerts in the band shell next door. Cooler by the lake & lots of boat rides to try. The cultural events/exhibits are well thought out & educational as they have an arts center. Open outdoor market during the summer days are fun & eclectic. Great patios for drinks or eating, as well as ppl watching. Perfect summer spot!

I used to work at the Harbourfront centre years ago and I fell in love with the weekly cultural events during the summer. I used to love coming here on my own to clear my mind. Restaurants in the area are also fantastic
M	Mira on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff are nice and the rentals were good. They have lockers if you bring 1$ coins and they are very kind and helpful. This is not a good place to go if you want to skate fast or have your own space. It was very busy and the ice was not great. Good for social skating and for rentals though.

J	Jennifer Kelly on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful setting. Ice is great. Lots of benches to put skates on. And a warming centre under heat lamps. Parking at Harbourfront is plentiful in the underground lot but is expensive. Lots to see and do down at Queens Quay.
C	Cheryl Auger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Skating by the lake is a lot of fun and this year is no different though the rink is under the bandstand. l really like the skating trail attached to the rink, though it can get a bit congested. There's music to set the mood and a lot of great spots for selfies. People at all different levels, from beginner to advanced, were out on the ice enjoying themsleves. There are rental skates available as well.

I did not see wherevyou could rent skates and helmuts but we were there in the evening. Saw a big sign for DJ and skating on Saturdays between 8-11 pm. Great date night idea.

While in here watch out for Roberto(coach Bob) who is one of the classiest and coolest people you will ever come across, by the way he's an amazing skater and taught me few skating skills too!!
