This is one of the best bakeries for a wide variety of breads, bagels, cookies, pastries, pies and cakes. They also offer prepared foods. The prices are not cheap, but it's very good quality food. It's also a long-standing family owned and run bakery. And they usually give out a free cookie to little kids.

The workers aren’t kind and there is no labels for breads so i need to ask every single thing. The price was 3.5 each which is definitely not cheap but the taste was really cheap. Their almond croissant does not have proper filling and it taste like burnt and the atmosphere does not look that clean

Don't miss this bakery if you are near Harbord and Spadina!! We have often ordered cakes for birthdays from here and they are delicious. So, I tried their other pastries and they were so yummy. The mixed berry pie and nutty jam cookie were perfect with not too much sweetness but just the right amount. Their spicy cheesesticks were great too. The staffs are very friendly and sweet. Would definitely recommend it?

Love this bakery, there is certainly a history to this place and it's quite big. I tried the peanut butter cookies a pecan tart and cheddar cheese stix. I recommend all of them...the cheddar cheese stix are amazing. I will be getting more. Look forward to trying there fruit cake/flans and carrot cake. They also serve salads and some hot foods. Fresh bread, cheese, frozen foods, baked goods and more

A Toronto staple. A long history of providing delicious treats and deli food to area. My favourite is their poppy seed danishes.

Purchased a mocha cake for my wife's bday after reading the good reviews. Wasn't impressed! It tasted awful with a strong foul freezer odour, which means it had been sitting in there for god knows how long. $30 wasted! Birthday ruined! Wish I can give 0 star.

This is a well established "Jewish" bakery offering a wide variety of baked goods, cookies, ready made foods and breads. Operating in the same locations for many decades, the decor is functional and "simple" but their claim to fame is the quality of their products. Their egg challah breads, their various cheese danish and blintzes are well known and are also sold at various specialty food stores in town. Paid parking is available on Harbour nearby and the automated front doors make accessibility convenient for wheelchair bound people.

This bakery shop is one of the best around UofT. It offers a variety of baked goodies and special occasion cake. It also has a deli/salad bar. Customer service is not bad and inside of the store is clean and safe. Items presentation is not the greatest and they can definitely do better. They don’t have signs and the layout of the bakery section is a tad weird. I have it 4 because it doesn’t have vegan options and the prices are on the higher side. Otherwise, if you are around the area and feeling like having a a good muffin or cookies, give Harbord Bakery a try!
