β β β β β We went here for dinner after hearing many good things about this place. We got there around 6:30pm and the restaurant only had two other tables.
The decor was very quaint and cozy, and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the waitress. All throughout the night, service was very speedy and friendly.
We ordered the chicken feet salad, the deep-fried chicken wings, and the pork and crab meat spring rolls as our appetizer. For our main course we want it the vermicelli noodles with pork hock meatballs, but we were told that they ran out of the meatballs that day. So we opted for the Stir fried beef noodle soup instead, as well as the steam rice noodle with pork patties platter.
The chicken feet salad was pretty good. The chicken feet was deboned and slice thinly. The salad dressing was sweet, sour and savoury. The crab spring roll has a nice crunch on the outside and had a generous filling of crab. Dipping sauce though was a little bit bland. The chicken wings had really good crunchy batter on the outside, but the chicken wing itself can use a bit of marinade as it was lacking flavour on its own.
The stirfried beef noodle soup was full of flavor, the broth was super tasty. I like the big sheet of rice noodle with the pork patty platter.
Overall food was very nice, the presentation was exactly how you see it online. The atmosphere was quiet and great for conversation too. Itβs not your typical pho noodle place, but I like it and Iβll definitely be going back again soon.

β β β β β Small restaurant with great atmosphere and nice decorations. The taste of food was not so impressive. I do like that they have a small menu so with some unique dishes. The green papaya salad with beef jerky was disappointing though, too much papaya salad and too little of beef jerky, itβs far from the one I tried before.

β β β β β Very authentic Hanoi style pho! Some review says the broth is plain but this is how pho is like in Hanoi, no hoisin sauce and other toppings so you taste the light and pureness of the broth. And they served the pho ga with donut, along with the vinegar pickled garlic slices and chilli, exactly like how we had it in Hanoi. In a day and time when international travel is limited, this meal has brought me back to the good old times when we were in Hanoi!

β β β β β Authentic Hanoi dishes and flavors. Their crab spring roll with the rice paper is a must try. The bun bun cha Hanoi is outstanding. I highly recommend this Hanoi Old Quatre restaurant for an true Northern Vietnamese experience. ??

Excellent dine-in place, fresh and perfectly cooked food, soothing lower volume music and the good old retro interior.
So glad that I live close to such a great restaurant. Do try their fried chicken wings.

β β β β β Amazing Northern Vietnamese cuisine made with love! If you want to try something a bit different and some really great quality, unique dishes, look no further! Pork belly and patties is a must try! We were so full so didnβt get to try the egg coffee or the sweet rice and mango for dessert. Will be back soon!

The rice rolls has a good chew to them and the spring rolls were nice and crispy. The meatballs were a little cold compared to the other items though due to them sitting in the dipping sauce.
The egg coffee was really tasty but a little sweet for my taste.
Chicken wings were solid! I would order these again.
The noodle soup tasted really clean and comforting which was perfect on a snowy day ?.
Heads up though - they accept debit and cash only in store!
