Love their fish cake and crab soup noodles. So happy they have a newer and bigger location. We came at 11 and the place was packed already. There was quite a line up by 12. All the servers are busy so don't expect great service but they do their best to help and are friendly.

This is one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants. Everyone is always very friendly and welcoming. And the food is delicious. I absolutely love the pho with dill and fish cakes. The flavours are delectable and it is a nice variation from other pho I've had. Always a great treat to have nice hot soup, especially on a rainy day like today.

Location shifted down the road. Prices increased by about $3-5/dish. Food quality appears to have dipped, we ordered their crab pho special (#23) i believe, but was disappointed with it. Compared to the previous location, the crab stock and quality seems to have changed for the worse, barely tasted any crab in the broth and noodles were not as chewy/tangy as before. They now offer one size with β€œsets”, essentially a spring roll, or coffee or both for an additional charge Expect to pay upwards of CAD for meal excluding tip. Opening special had 10% off but since they’ve increased their prices significantly, not really a discount. Would I recommend coming here? Just once, to taste what the hype is about. Service was so-so, we were seated, and not given menus till about 20-30 minutes despite trying to get ahold of a server. Tipping on the machine starts at 15%, so imho, so your calculations prior to the tip and manually enter it in.

Good food. Bun Rieu was good. Beef pho special was better than average. Chicken wings were average. Long lines (but go fast). Restaurant itself is hectic on weekends. It’s extremely loud and uncomfortable. Tables weren’t very clean. Service is fine, cashier was friendly. You come here strictly for the food.

10 minutes line up for weekday lunch. Big, new and clean place. Everything looks pretty inside even the menu. We had 2 noodle soups and one cold noodle. They were both good, but not as good as before. Maybe because they just moved into this new location and kitchen was not all settled yet? Peanut sauce was watered down way too much.

Always see a huge line up in front of this restaurant. Their crab noodle is their special menu. Everything tasted delicious, but nothing so special to be honest. The fried chicken and squid cake are kinda too oily for me, but tasted good!

So far I’ve only had the pleasure of trying one item off the menu, that’s the #23 Bun Rieu (special crab soup w/ vermicelli). And it is fantastic. The crab broth is so tasty. The abundance of seafood and vermicelli noodle and veggies all come together really well. Seriously this menu item is so so so good! It’s filling and at a great price point. Great service really accommodating as well, I ordered 5 minutes before they closed and they still were able to fulfill my order of five #23’s! Can’t wait to return and can’t wait too try more menu items!

It's great to see a restaurant not just survive but thrive through the pandemic, as this place has, moving from a tiny space with a few cramped tables to a spacious newly renovated room that seems at least 4 times larger yet is still so popular that the persistent lineups remain. Diners seem cheerful, with lively conversations and bubbly laughter. Needless to say, the food is reliably great, especially their marquee dish, the fish cake noodle soup. I tried the bΓΊn riΓͺu, crab cake with vermicelli, which was delightful. The crab cake was ethereal, the soup satisfying to the soul. (9/10) This has got to be an iconic Vancouver dish. Also tried the salt and pepper chicken wings (8/10) and curry beef (7.5/10). Service was fast and friendly. Noticed they now have a bar and beer on the menu. Definitely coming back to try other things on their expanded menu. Note to self: Air con.
