From start to finish, Dave has been the consummate professional and is truly an artist. It is evident he loves his craft and genuinely cares about his customers satisfaction. He uses quality materials (authentic reclaimed wood) and his final pieces are sturdy, heavy and will surely stand the test of time. During the entire building process, Dave kept us up to speed and very involved by giving us constant updates via text messages, email and even on his Instagram account. His pride in his work is truly reflected in his craftsmanship. Dave hand delivered our table and bench and set them up in our kitchen. Our table is a beautiful example of a handmade, rustic, farmhouse, harvest table that was customized to our specific wants with regards to colour and stain. We love our two pieces (table & bench) so much that we can't wait for Dave to come and complete some other projects we have in mind! - The Ocampo's

Dave is very pleasant and so focused on customer satisfaction. I personally don't know about his skill in carpentry, but he did share some of his employment background and I learned that he left a Bay Street job to start his company... because woodworking is his passion. What could be better than to work every day with something you love. It shows. I think he's one of the nicest persons I have ever encountered in any business. First off, Dave is such an awesome guy to work with - kind, patient, and dedicated and passionate about his craft. He's been at this for years and it's clear he's always been aiming to perfect his methods and deliver a product that will last forever (he'll even buy back your table if you're not happy for some reason). His pricing is very transparent and clear, and he also offers very reasonable delivery and comes to set up your table himself. It's truly a custom process which we loved and Dave seems to take the client's lead on how closely they want to be involved. For us, we loved being able to see the boards as they were selected and get updates as the treatments were applied. Dave really worked with us to achieve the unique look we were after and he was always so committed to getting us a table we'd love. I think he threw just about every tool in his shop at this table to get the level of distressing we were looking for :P He even looked at pictures of our space to give guidance on the stain and called it out himself when he thought we had gotten too dark, and proceeded to lighten it up. He most definitely went above and beyond and we're so appreciative and grateful of that. We've received many compliments on our table and know we'll be able to enjoy it for years and years to come (this is one solid table!). We would wholeheartedly recommend Dave and Hanna Carpentry. (our table is 82" x 38", with extensions, douglas fir, distressed)
