★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tomorrow will be two weeks since I walked into this store as I was told it was fast, friendly and whatever. It's been two weeks since I've been waiting to hear if Hakim contacted for approval on my new glasses. It's never taken this long. if I don't hear from Hakim tomorrow, I believe they don't really want my business so 'll find another Optical business in Owen Sound that will prove FAST & FRIENDLY service.

Covid excuse til 28 jan21 and then bad script after a lot of arguing got a retest
Sctrpt out by 50 points
Today Feb 22 and still no glasses
Thanks to Walmart magnifiers I can see.
My only mistake was I gave up my frames for the new lenses

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WELL. My actual appointment was wonderful. I had gotten glasses here before, but this time I couldn't afford them yet, just the appointment. Things were good until I asked for my PD (pupilary distance) from my previous record on file. I will NOT be coming back! I was OUTRIGHT REFUSED!
This is not okay.
From the collegeofopticians.ca:
"Under the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA), a patient has a right of access to his or her own personal health information. As a result, opticians have a corresponding obligation to provide access to this information under PHIPA. The physical record of a patient’s personal health information belongs to the optician, but the personal health information contained within the file belongs to the patient."
Luckily you can MEASURE THIS YOURSELF. You can find detailed instructions online.
I will be buying elsewhere.

First time I shopped for glasses as age has called into question my vision.
Very patient and supportive staff has helped me to choose the appropriate frame and lenses to fit my budget.
The Hakim brand frames can easily compete with brand names like Oakley, Hugo Boss frames without the steep price tag.....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My progressive glasses is badly scratched in just one and half year and can't be used anymore. I have been using only to clean the lens cloth with lens cleaner or water They don't even offer warranty on the lens ! my $450 dollars' prescription glasses is gone !!! The store staff working behaver is very rude and bad !!! Folks in Owen Sound, don't waste your money with this store !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My eye examination went very well but when it came to picking frames for my glasses, I was served very rudely and poorly by the salesperson who couldn't answer my questions honestly. This led me to make my purchase elsewhere. Be aware of their prices, advertisement and warranties. I will definitely never go back.
