★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very underwhelming place to buy books. Nothing like a Chapters store. This has been Owen Sound’s bookstore for years, and it’s okay, but a full-scale Chapters would be heaven! Most of the time I’m looking for a book this store doesn’t have it, so I most often order online. You are able to order from the store and pick up there too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly, knowledgeable staff...when you can find them. Store is organized and well laid out for ease of shopping, would be nice if staff were a little more available if you have specific questions. Otherwise a good selection and presentation, and cashiers are very helpful and communicate different deals and sale items well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, small bookstore. Not a very big one, but happy and homely. Had the most customers than any other store at Heritage Place. Prices are mid range- there was a decent sale on some items for the holidays. Could easily spend an hour perusing the books. Staff was friendly and helpful, and took the appropriate precautions to prevent spread of Covid.
