About Hair Tropics - Cuts for Kids
Hair Tropics was created with one goal in mind.
We wanted to give kids the room to have fun, be creative and get lost in their imagination’s while comfortably getting their haircuts.
With that in mind, we created our studio to cater to all ages, personalities, and comfort levels.
Our studio is designed to transport a child’s imagination to a land of adventure and fairytales!
We know that it’s more than just a haircut. It’s an experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only nice things to say here about Hair tropics riverbend. My almost 5yr old and 2&1/2 yr old had their very first successful haircut (we had been cutting his hair at home) as he is so scared of scissors and razors. They were so patient , so calm and so engaging that kids didn't even realize the hair cut was done. We all left happy and neat.

Our 3 year old loves his new look, thanks to Debbie, and thoroughly enjoyed his experience! He has a snazzy new look for picture day and his birthday and we couldn't be happier with the service and customer care, thanks again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Both of my boys loved Hair Tropics, my 6 year old played Nintendo switch the whole time, he had a blast. My 3 year old normally does not like getting his hair cut but not here he sat in the police car and watched Blippi he was so distracted he sat really still the whole time, I was honestly in complete shock, I couldn't believe it. Best place to bring kids for a hair cut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my 3.5 month old daughter's haircut about more then a week ago and let me tell you that the front desk lady (Amber) I believe her name was...went above and beyond to take care of my other daughter (2 yr old) Also Cassie, the hair dresser was so kind and patience towards my crying baby. I use to take my babies to beaners...but I always felt rushed and no personal connection but from now onwards, I know where to take my babies and my niece and nephew. The best place for kids hair cut also just came to know that this place have amazing birthday packages, so will be doing birthday parties here in the coming future.

My son has a lot of sensory issues especially with hair cuts and our other child is super ticklish we went through the whole haircut with very little issue no tears and lots of things for kids to do with their hands while doing their haircuts with tablets and movies and video games provided depending on child's age level it was amazing and very catering to the child need. we will be going back in a few months we loved it so much❤❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been 3 times and each time made an online booking only to get a different girl when we show up. Not sure why they have a booking system if it’s irrelevant. First cut was quite crooked but he had fun there so we tried again. Second cut was better, nothing special but for a kid it was fine. Third time my son asked for his part to be shaved in, the girl tried to talk him out of it, saying it’s “so 2019”. I was surprised by that, as he’s 5 and that’s what he wanted. After seeing the result I’m guessing she probably didn’t want to do it because she had no idea how. Would’ve been better to just say that up front or ask one of the other girls for help. It’s too bad as he really likes the place but to get a mediocre cut once in 3 tries isn’t worth it anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing. We've taken our 2.5 y/o son to other haircutting places and none of them have done this well. The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The hairstylist was incredible with him as well. Let him touch the clippers, explained what she was doing, and used the language he understood which made the experience painless. Plus having a fun car and TV to watch made him sit still lol.
BEST of all, this was the best haircut he's ever gotten. Other places either immediately go in with the clippers, try to cut too quickly, aren't patient...etc.
We will definitely go back here, and I highly recommend them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow what a great place! Everyone was so kind! Got both my daughters and my hair done. Both had over 4 inches off and they did amazing! Kids were able to play Mario kart or watch a movie. Will go here again 100%!
