It's not close to home for me, but Im picky when it comes to hairdressers. Hai does a fantastic job every time I see him and never fails to acheieve what change I've come up with. Him and his team are always friendly and know what they're doing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having just moved to the area I was looking for a new hairdresser and without a recommendation I honesty chose to visit HIP because of Percie, the salon dog! Lucky for me Percie met me at the door and Jeff did a great job with my highlights (no cut for me today)!
The salon is peaceful, conversation is easy and welcoming. My experience today was definitely worthy of my first Google review and I'm looking forward to going back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great salon!! My stylist moved here from another salon (frankly, I would follow her anywhere!) and I LOVE it. Great people, great vibe. They support local artists, and always have interesting artwork on the walls - I have bought two fabulous paintings. Just around the corner from busy West Broadway, so wonderfully peaceful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After moving to Vancouver, I needed to find a hair stylist that I could trust and had experience with blondes/thick hair. I've been seeing Jeff for almost two years now and he is fantastic! His knowledge depth is fierce and does a great job- I always feel happy when I leave the salon. Also, Percie is a perk (his dog)!

The space itself is great.... open ... lots of windows and light... feels spacious and welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I see Mellodee at this salon and she has completely transformed my horribly damaged box dyed brassy blonde hair. Not only is she amazing at what she does, she really listens to give you the kind of hair that fits with who you are/your lifestyle. I really appreciate that and think this is rare. The owner of this salon is so friendly, he always has a smile for all clients of the salon and I love his style. I always enjoy my visits to this salon - highly recommend.
