★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last night was my first visit at Hair Co. and it certainly won't be my last. It was the most relaxed I've ever felt while receiving a hair service. Jill provided me with a top notch haircut and an enjoyable conversation. The space itself is so beautiful and spacious. I highly recommend trying their house blend tea; very soothing after a long day at work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven't my hair coloured in years and recently went to Brett to get a blonding service done. Holy smokes, was I blown away with what he did! I honestly don't remember the last time i've loved my hair this much. He has a client for life! As for the salon- it is beautiful in there, so clean and they are visibly practicing proper sanitizing and other covid-related policies. An added bonus is the fact that they are a green circle certified salon so they also have lots of great eco-friendly practices. I would HIGHLY recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend Hair Co to that person who wants a little more than just another haircut. There's a certain vibe about this place makes you feel like you are treating yourself rather than receiving a service. I'd strongly suggest showing up early — order a coffee, tea, wine or beer — put your phone down and take a well deserved moment for yourself.
From the minute you walk in, you will feel comfortable with the friendly staff and the well-furnished lounge area, making for a sweet escape from the hustle and bustle of your day to day life.
But what's most impressive are their next level stylists — and Tony Fiorillo is a magician when it comes to men's barbering! From hair styling, beard trimming to the classic straight razor shave — he's a master! He takes his time and pays attention to detail — he listens to you and teaches you how you can always look your best.
Plus, this newly renovated space in The Exchange is filled with large windows and natural light, making it a great place to hang out, people watch and feel like you are in a neighborhood coffee shop, rather than a salon.
I get it, change can be a tricky thing — especially when it comes to changing your hair salon/stylist. But this is more than just another haircut, it's a visit to look forward to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I followed my stylist here and am always thrilled with her work, and will probably keep coming here for her, in spite of what I have to say in this review. I love the beautiful space and the staff are always friendly. However, I had to go without haircuts or go elsewhere during the early pandemic because Hairco chose to do beard trims before people were vaccinated. I am immunocompromised and tried to explain my situation but no support was offered to allow me to have safer haircuts. Other salons/barbershops chose not to offer beard trims or offered times for higher risk people to get haircuts without being next to someone unmasked. I am disappointed that they did not extend any care to the most vulnerable clients who face additional strains and limitations throughout the pandemic. I will never forget their choice to put profit or getting back to business as usual, ahead of caring for their community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brett is an awesome stylist; I make sure to book an appointment with him whenever I come into town. I've had him both cut and colour my hair, and I always come out looking like the best version of myself. He has a great eye for colour - I let him suggest a drastic colour change at my last appointment, and I've had people convinced I was a natural redhead it suited me so well. Also just such a pleasant person to spend an afternoon with, which is half of the hair appointment experience.
