First time there and was treated to a pampering experience - scalp massage, high grade products used and a great cut supervised and checked by a trainer. Best part was helping someone develop their skills and seeing a passion for their work. Right downtown, walkable from Portage Place or City Square.

I went from quite long to quite a bit shorter. I'm sure that would've been a bit nerve racking for a student, but she had the confidence that she really knew what I wanted and with the support of her teachers checking in, she hit a home run! I've had nothing but compliments from my family, friends and co-workers! Thanks again to Bonnie and the Aveda Team, I will definitely be back. Best of luck to Bonnie in her future!

Everyone is so friendly and attentive, they listen to my concerns and take their time to understand what you want. You will need a little extra time than a regular haircut but I don't mind at all! Definitely have recommended to family / friends.

The hospitality was above and beyond anything I could have imagined prior to coming here. When I arrived, I was greeted and offered a place to hang my jacket. I was also offered a beverage of my choice which surprised me, but in a really good way. As for the services I had, I came in for a haircut and two treatments with Julie. I was quite delighted by the results and felt very welcome during my entire visit. I requested long layers and am very impressed with my results. Julie was a pleasure to have and I definitely suggest getting your hair done with her!! I hope to get a balayage done here by this summer and have high hopes for my next visit!! :)

As someone who has a hard time trusting people with my hair, I felt a bit nervous at first, but they were very easy to talk to and I was easily able to put my full trust in them with my cut. The stress relieving massage was also amazing, I really enjoyed it. My hair looks amazing, the style was done really well and I'm looking forwards to seeing them again for future services!

Ren gave me a perfect cut, equal or better than I've had in professional salons in Winnipeg so far. I went in with an idea in mind to have my hair, and after a thorough and careful process, the result was simply spectacular. My hair looks radiant, luminous, and above all, healthy even after going through a bleaching process. I will come back many more times, and I will recommend it to my friends. Thank you, Aveda Institute, for the wonderful experience today!

I got a botanical treatment with signature blow dry style included. Was in a rush to meet a friend so missed out on getting a before and after pic! I appreciated my stylists suggestions. And also the booking email of what to expect! The salon was very clean. The little shop was really well stocked and nice. The girl at the desk was very nice. It was nice that they offered tea or water while we waited. The only thing I was confused about it is that masks were still required for clients and stylists even though the mandate has been lifted in the province. Which doesn’t make sense. (Rating does not reflect this confusion.)
