Ambience Hair Studio is located at 175 Carlton St. in the heart of downtown, attatched to the Delta Hotel right beside the Convention Centre. We cater to a regular clientele of downtown business people as well as accept walk-ins. We specialize in everything from colors, cuts, men shaves and extensions to manicures, pedicures,waxing and massage ect. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got a keratin treatment with Merri. She was so welcoming, kind, professional, and experienced! I have insanely dry, curly hair but with the treatment I can air dry my hair and it'll shiny, soft, and straight. Highly recommend this salon because of their knowledge and experience with all hair types!

Unlike mall hair salons filled with noisy chatter and busyness, Linda describes her hair appointments as a relaxing experience. From the luxurious vibe of the salon to the pampering she receives, Linda is thrilled by the attention to detail in her haircuts, highlighting and hair color. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i’ve never been a person to be ‘loyal’ to one salon, but after my appointment with esther that’s gonna change for sure. i was in the salon for 5 hours and paid less than $200 to go from dark brown to highlighter green. in love with the environment and everyone was super kind. in love with how my hair turned out <3

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out of all places I’ve gotten my hair done this was the only time I cried my eyes out in the chair. made me insecure for months because I couldn’t even tie my hair in a low pony tail I had to clip it until it grew out.
Esther did my hair... after I told her she cut it waaaaayy too short she bailed and started working on someone else’s hair while I sat in the chair crying because I was upset. The manager was sweet to me but Esther didn’t apologize and acted like nothing happened and that she didn’t mess up my hair. It bothers me because it was very tacky of her not to say anything.
My hair is a huge part to feeling beautiful everyday and it took a long time for me to love my hair again. (This happened in late April of 2021) so it’s been months now but I can finally tie it up. I wish I could of had a better experience :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best salons I have ever been to in all the years I have been getting my hair done. All the staff are very professional, punctual, friendly, and pay attention to detail. They have been with me through all my major life journeys and have been very helpful with making my hair look set for any and all occasions. It’s a comfortable environment, a home away from home, and always a pleasurable experience every time I come. I have very thick 4c hair and they are able to provide services to make it more then manageable. Come check it out you won’t be disappointed!!
