Haber's Compounding Pharmacy

This pharmacy is only about taking your money and nothing else!!! I had just filled out my first prescription of a controlled substance for my cancer pain with Haber's Pharmacy. Today, Saturday, I received a call that my prescription was ready, so I sent a family member pick it up; but there is one MAJOR PROBLEM... There are no warnings labels on the bottle and information that came with my prescription. NOTHING!!! All I received was an official receipt, and take 1mg twice daily when needed, but no instructions,no information, and or warnings. I called immediately when I received my prescription and got a young lady on the phone, who told me that she would check the system. She put me on hold and transferred me to an Asian accented female pharmacist, who told me that "I don't need any additional information about the prescription, everything is on the bottle." When I mentioned that I'm that other prescriptions, then the Asian accented female pharmacist said, "Well, the computers seemed to be down at the moment, I can't help you. Call back on Monday." So, meaning I will have until Monday (two days) to receive any information about my prescription. I tried Googling the information, but I'm at a dead end. I decided to call back an hour later and for 50 minutes, no one would pick up the phone. My prescription is a controlled substance under the Ministry and I have no information, no warnings, nothing, but a receipt, a label that I must call 2 business days for compunding and take 1ml twice daily. I am definitely having my file transferred to Smith's Pharmacy after this. Don't waste your time, go to Smith's Pharmacy!!! Update about my prescription: The compound wasn't done correctly! I have been in gut wrenching pain and this compound wasn't made correctly. Now I know why there is no warning labels on the bottle, my prescription was compounded wrong.

Brought in prescription for 3 months, was told that they would only dispense one month at a time but I had to prepay the full 3 months. Lo and behold when I try to pick up my second month they have no record in the system and say my medication was all dispensed at once. This is a compound that expires within one month, so absolutely not true. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time this happened, but now I believe they are simply scamming patients. Please be aware.

I had a local pharmacy on the east end I used to go to, but since moving to the west end it was really inconvenient to keep going to my old place. I wanted to find a local mom and pop shop pharmacy that had hours that would work with my schedule and stumbled upon Haber's. I have been really happy with my experience. They have a big store with lots of old pharmacy items on display. I loved the old school feel. More importantly, however, I was happy with the customer service and ease of getting my medication, quickly and accurately. One of my insurance providers has the group information in electronic format. It was really easy to just email it to Haber while I was there and they were able to print off the information they needed. When I picked up my medication the pharmacist ensured I knew how to use everything and wished me a good day. I will be making this my new pharmacy in the neighbourhood.

Recently I discovered that I had fractured my left leg quite a while ago I didn't know it. As a consequence of growing old the leg is acting up and the pain is very extreme I used to get a topical analgesic cream containing the same ingredients as Voltaren but at a higher concentration. Drugstore used to make it up for me but unfortunately now Federal Regulations dictate that homemade a compound pharmacy can make the product so I did some shopping around and found that habers was considerably less money for the countdown then other pharmacist. I'd recommend them highly they've been in business for a long time and have a great reputation

Why are you suddenly charging $15.00 to deliver oravital (chlorhexidine) to my dentist office? I asked the woman who answered the phone and she had no idea why the patients are being charged. I told her if I didn't get an answer I would submit a negative review and she said she "go ahead, I don't care". Very unprofessional office!!! I will see if I can get the product elsewhere. I feel sorry for the owners of this pharmacy as they are obviously employing individuals who simply want a paycheck. As a teacher I rate this pharmacy an F meaning FAIL.

I wouldnt go back there I asked and paid their price for a prescription When I returned to pick it up the price was 50% more . The excuse was that they made a mistake I paid the difference because I don’t like conflicts and the prescription was specifically made so it would go to waste but felt robbed

This place is unprofessional and over charges. I left my other compound pharmacy thinking this place would be great. I asked them on the phone what was their turn around and she told me 1-3 days. The first prescription I had to call them 3-4 times to ask them if they reached my doctor for a renewal l and they called once and left it a week with no follow up with me or the doctor. I called and asked them to follow up again and finally 2 weeks later. The next prescription was for 3 months. They filled only one month and charge me practically the same amount as my other pharmacy for 3 months. They are scamming to make me reorder every month so they can charge every time for the labour. My third script was for creams and I noticed the applications increased and again I did not get my 3 months supply. You use the cream much faster as it is not as potent so you think you are getting more/same but in reality you go through it much faster thus have to order again so they make more money. I complained to a man who answered the phone and he did not seem to care about my concerns and never reassured me that they would take care of future scripts or have a manager call me. No customer service and they rip you off with prices and fooling around with the scripts. My mom ordered a cream from them and it was $30 more that our other compound pharmacy. Be prepared to pay much more and no customer service. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

My local pharmacy was unable to fill my sterile compound prescription due to Covid staffing shortage.I found myself in a pinch in the middle of a Friday afternoon. I called every compound pharmacy that Google offered. And not only was Haber’s, The only pharmacy that was willing to do it. But the service was impeccable and professional and what normally takes 24 to 48 hours they had ready for me by 6 o’clock that same night. I definitely found my new pharmacy for all my needs. Five stars all the way. Note:I’ve never written a review in my life but I felt that these guys certainly deserve it.
