j	jeffrey martins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quality of service has evidently declined in recent years. As I waited for service I watched multiple staff members make mistakes with other clients. People were clearly upset, staff could not operate equipment at the front desk. Very chaotic and did not instill the least bit of confidence that they could complete my taxes properly and on time. I had to walk out. Will find another company to file my taxes with this year.

It had taken them over a month to finally get them filed through which was very unfortunate being that it was my first time filing. There were extremely long wait times, I had to come in multiple times just to be told I still would not be able to file, and I needed to be seen by 3 employees there before someone who knew what they were doing was able to help me. Just a poor experience overall but they were very polite which is why I'll give them 2 stars.

H	Heather Wong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I moved to Edmonton recently and was not familiar with doing taxes, so Norma and the guy on the counter was certainly very helpful in explaining the taxes to me. Had to wait a little longer than expected, but overall worth it if it’s your first time doing taxes and want to know what you’re eligible for. Besides, it’s peak season for tax, so don’t go expecting them to call you in few days. Had to follow up after a week-ish, and from there on they were super fast to follow up. Different people will differ according to what papers they need to submit, but always be sure to ask for price before dropping off your documents. They can’t give you an exact price until the final assessment, but at least an estimate won’t caught you off guard. Overall a great experience. Will do my taxes again with them next year!
M	Mark Moyer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have anything more complex than one T4, I suggest you ask to see the fees before you hand anything over. They don't disclose any prices up front, and then surprise you with tons of fees for every document they process. There was some I missed that I could of easily provided but instead I got tons of fees. There is only one person in the entire building who has any sense of what they are doing and you can tell she is bombarded with all the problems to solve. I really wish I did not drop off my 2020 return here. The fees I had to pay on some very minor investments actually costs more than the decent return I made. I could of easily done my 2020 taxes on my own like I usually do, but I thought I'd try it out this year. Big mistake. Do yourself a favour and simply get the tax documents that are required and do the taxes on your own. It's easier than you think and there are free online tools to do them. I also worked from home all year and they didn't ask me anything about that or how much square feet my home office is. I'm surprised it wasn't brought up as lots of people have been working from home this year. Now I likely have to make an amendment since it's already been submitted. Any returns you are getting is actually your money as an interest free loan to the government. Keep as much of that to yourself. Learn from my mistake!

N	Nathan Bray on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you can avoid it I would not go here. Every H&R I have been to has been very good. This one made mistakes and when I called to talk to them about it they were not professional and just rude. They don’t care about the customer. Just avoid when possible.
