β β β β β This place is rated too low. The katsu and ramen are both great. I wouldnβt order the gyoza alone - definitely get a katsu. Service has always been really nice and food comes out fast. Big portions.

β β β β β Pretty good, small sports bar that serves Japanese food and also with a small grocery area. The food and service was pretty good. We tried the shrimp gyoza, with edamame and Brussel sprouts as well as the katsu sandwich. I think the bread in the katsu sandwich was too hard and the meat was cold and could have been better warmed up.

β β β β β Best gyoza I've ever had and some of the best ramen as well. All for an amazing price. I would have paid a fair bit more money for the same food and still have been just as happy. A must stop for anyone looking for amazing food at an amazing price.

β β β β β After finding out that there is a new ABURI-To-Go store inside this restaurant,I have been coming twice a week! Abura to Go sells authentic ready to eat Japanese food. There are lots of prepared food, and home-kits. I bought the pork ramen bowl and beef bulgogi kits and made them at home. Both were easy to make and tasted great. For lunch, I recommend the Salmon Box and Unagi Box. The ingredients are so french and well seasoned with very tender meat. I also tried the chicken sandwich, but it was way too salty. For dessert, I love the Hokkaido cream roll cakes, creamy and delicious. The price is reasonable. If you're in downtown and would like to have authentic Japanese food or kits to bring home, this is the place to visit.

Being fans of gyoza, we had been talking about visiting this place for the longest time. It did not disappoint. Besides having super juicy gyoza, their ramen was also super delicious with a super rich broth. The noodle was probably its weakest part. The katsu was also juicy and crispy, with unlimited refills for rice and cabbage, which I totally appreciated. I could eat that cabbage with sesame dressing all day!

β β β β β This was our first meal while visiting Vancouver. Nice place with little market to get Japanese snacks and quick meals to go. My husband ordered tacos from the happy hour menu, one of each, fish, pork and chicken, he loved them all. The presentation of the gyozo was pretty, my daughter thought they were the best compare to the Chinese style pan fried dumplings. The spicy aka tonkotsu ramen was very flavourful. Overall we love it so much we wanted to come back for our last lunch in Vancouver but they were closed. We will definitely visit again on the future!

β β β β β Prior to the pandemic, my husband and I went here one day for lunch and we had a great time - it just took me awhile to finally get to post a review. We ordered the crispy vegetable & pork teppan gyoza, vegetable fritter sandwich & a their pork sandwich, although I'm not sure if they still over those sandwiches anymore since it's been awhile. We have gone here a couple of times and every time, the food & service was great. If we find ourselves in the area, we will definitely go here again.

β β β β β We went here for happy hour and ordered probably too much food. Prices were incredibly reasonable, and every plate was delicious. Their sauces were so good that we had to buy a few bottles to take home from the Japanese market they have set up at the front of the restaurant! Thank you for satisfying our gyoza craving! ??
