I applied in MBA and this is best university in Canada. Mr. Nikhil Gupta Student Advisor help me during my application process. The best thing in this university is that i got quick response every-time. Mr. Nikhil help me many way during my admission process. Admission team and advisor are very helpful and polite. They gave detail information about admission process and do regular follow up.

Update: The summer term was updated about a week in to add online options. Unfortunately, I’m still losing my synchronous classes, but it’s available now. I am a current Canadian student at UCW. I chose this school because it provides a full time online commerce degree, with virtual online classes. I require the virtual online portion for my own personal learning needs. I am extremely upset with my experience in the last two terms. I have had to correspond via email with several departments of the school. Ucw requires an office manager who trains the staff on how to efficiently correspond with students. I had to repeat myself countless times with multiple people in the same department, and the staff do not review email threads to ensure they are answering questions effectively. Every time I got an email I got the same response from a different person even though I had already proved their answer was incorrect repeatedly. Also as a domestic student they have sent me requirements to provide my passport, my student and work visa information and other requirements that international students would require. Domestic students should be categorized separately from international students. Every time I am required to provide these forms I don’t have, my entire online platform is shut down until I provide it. Last time this happened I wrote a scathing word document and attached to every form required by the school. I have yet to hear back from any department about this. Lastly (so far) I prepaid for my third term of school, just to find out last week that the school isn’t providing any online courses through the summer term. They stated that the asynchronous classes were only available as a solution for Covid 19. However I am enrolled in an online degree. A permanent online degree. I don’t live in Vancouver, and don’t intend to. So now, I have to get a refund from the school so I can pay back my grants and loans from the government because my school is not providing classes for me this term. I am not the only domestic student attending ucw for the online commerce degree. Also, if applying for my refund, they will charge me a $250 processing fee. I have been to 3 different collages in my life, my education has never been so poorly handled by any institution, and these problems need to be addressed by the school immediately. I will never recommend this school to anyone. Yes, this school is a means to an end for immigrants to come to Canada, and I feel like this institution is taking advantage of people trying to gain Canadian citizenship, however, I am not in the position to view this institution from the perspective of an immigrant and I am glad this avenue exists for those looking to come to Canada. This school doesn’t care about its domestic students. I’ve even had an academic advisor tell me that domestic students aren’t happy at this school and usually leave. This is a huge red flag and if you’re Canadian, don’t attend this school, if you are faculty of UCW, maybe you should find a way to address this problem. I have a 4.0 at this school, I am beginning to wonder if my grades will hold at any credible university in canada. I am looking to take my honours marks to a school that deserves my statistic.

My experience for now is really bad with them because they are too late in replying to our application and after submitting all the necessary documents and marks sheets even now they have just given conditional letter which is upsetting. Maybe they should work faster in replying to applications because at this Covid time it’ll affect so many international students to work on their visa and all.

I’m very glad that I found student representative Aabha from UCW as my counselor. Being a international student (fresher), I was very much worried about the communication to the university as I applied by myself. Because, we do not have any other hope than the proper communication. We all know very well that most of the colleges/universities in Canada don’t respond or send us a reply email for our application status. But, UCW is being very professional and they keep their words. I’m one of the student who is from non related to MBA program. I decided to study MBA because this could boost up my career in someways and it is one of my dream to pursue post graduation in Canada. That’s where I found UCW. My Counselor Aabha understood my needs and she guided me to choose MBA Foundation program which will help to gain better knowledge before getting into two years of MBA program. I also understand that our visa will get approved if we write the good SOP no matter even if we come from non related background with the course we choose. Desirous of being a prospective master’s degree student after a considerable gap from my bachelor’s seemed like a challenging task per se. But under the able guidance of Kashi, this journey seemed like a fairy tale experience. I was guided right from the start of the university application process till the very end of my visa application process in a very professional manner. I am sure other members working at UCW would also be great at their job but I have had the privilege of being guided by Kashi. Her professional approach at handling situations, timely and constant follow ups and genuine advices on all fronts are unique and extremely encouraging for any new entrant. And thankfully so, I also received my MBA program offer letter from UCW and now await my student visa to embark on this journey.

I really appreciate the assistance received from my student advisor Ms. Srilikhitha. She has been in touch with me from the day one and has never failed to assist me with my queries and prompt responses. She has always been my first choice, when I had any queries in my mind regarding the programme and application process. She has always kept me updated with my application and responded promptly when I had time sensitive request. Moreover, one thing I noticed about her was, she replied to my urgent emails even on holidays, which was really a big help for me. As a new student I really appreciate her assistance. Kumar was assigned to me. His promptness to mail was second to none. He really assisted me in getting my offer letter, letter of Acceptance and paying my initial deposit. He replies to mail within thirty minute and most times back it up with call. He was always ready to help includes when you send mail to him on weekends. It was great working with him. I think he deserves some awards.

My experience dealing with the advisors has exceeded my expectations and they were very friendly and approachable for any assistance(5 stars to them). I really was looking forward to study in this university. However, getting a refund due to rejection of study permit has been extremely poor. In 21st century there is simply no explanation why someone can take over 6 weeks to give the money they owe to people. I hope university understands that holding such big amount of money just makes their situation more bad apart from dealing with rejection. This just nullifies the whole good experience you had. Proceed with them if you are confident of getting a study permit. If not ,proceed with caution if you need this money urgently. It does not happen.
